On Sept. 15, 2026 at 23:39 I Deputy Hammond was dispatched to Hwy 49 and Jamie Ln. for a Accident with Entrapment call.
Upon arrival I located the car on the East side of Hwy 49 in the ditch laying on its roof. At this time I saw Kaiden James Biles inside the car, I asked if he was injuried and he stated to me he was not injuried but he could not get out of the car due to the evtensive damage.
At this time the Fire Dept was on scene with the spreader. The fireman then used the spreader to open the driver door of the car, at which time we removed Kaiden out of the car.
When we picked Kaiden up off the ground the fireman and I could smell alchol heavily on Kaidens breath, we got Kaiden up on to the road where EMS was standing by to check him out.
At this time Kaiden stated that he wanted to kill himself so EMS loaded Kaiden up and took him to Navicent Baldwin Co. to be checked out.
I then went to the Sheriff Office to get a Blood Alchol Kit and drove to the hospital, when I got there I gave the Lab Tech the kit and she drew blood and sealed the kit.
I then asked the Dr. if Kaiden was being admitted of if he was being released from the hospital. The Dr. stated to me he was being released at which point I placed Kaiden Biles under arrest for DUI and transported him to the Sheriff Office for booking.
I then went and turned over the Blood Alchol Kit into evidence for lab work.
