On June 8th, at approximatley 13:26 I, Deputy Brantley was dispatched to [2600 BLOCK] Highway 257, in reference to a subject with weapon.

Once on scene I, Deputy Brantley made contact with [VICTIM #1].

[VICTIM #1] stated that her fiance Brandon Barber came to the house with another female to pick up some belongings. [VICTIM #1] stated that she did not know the female. [VICTIM #1] advised Barber that if he has someone else then he should get all his belongings and leave. [VICTIM #1] stated that their kids were in the house, and that she is pregnant with his child now. [VICTIM #1] stated that Barber got upset and grabbed one of his knifes/Machete from the closet. [VICTIM #1] said Barber threw her onto the bed, and started cutting at her belly, saying “he did not want that child anyway”. [VICTIM #1] was able to get up and told Barber she was calling the law so he left the scene.

[VICTIM #1] has multiple scrape marks on her stomach and also a cut mark on her left arm. [VICTIM #1] also had what looked to be red markings around her throat.

I will be seeking warrants for Aggravated Assault (16-5-21)
