On August 6, 2026, I, Deputy Dalton Whitcomb, was dispatched to [3500 BLOCK] GA 126 regarding a domestic dispute. I arrived on scene, activated my body camera, and made contact with the parties involved.

I made contact with the offender and victim upon my arrival. I immediately noticed that the offender, Dalton Nolen, showed signs of being intoxicated. He had slurred speech, was unsteady on his feet, and had a heavy smell of an alcoholic beverage. I began speaking with the victim, [VICTIM #1], and Dalton kept interrupting [VICTIM #1] while he was attempting to give his statement. I instructed Dalton to stop interrupting multiple times, and after repeated interruptions, Dalton was then detained and placed into my patrol vehicle while I conducted my investigation.

[VICTIM #1] stated that he and Dalton had gotten into an argument due to him repeatedly going in and out of the residence, slamming the door while the other occupants were trying to sleep. He stated that when he confronted Dalton and told him to stop, Dalton became irate and began yelling at him, asking him if he wanted to take this outside.

[VICTIM #1]s’ wife, [WITNESS #1], then exited her bedroom to see what was going on. [VICTIM #1] stated that Dalton then began to yell and cuss at her and then tried to push him out of the way to reach [WITNESS #1]. [VICTIM #1] stated that he pushed Dalton back to keep him from reaching [WITNESS #1], while she called 911. [WITNESS #1] and Dalton’s brother, [WITNESS #2], who were both on scene inside the house, corroborated [VICTIM #1]’s statement.

I then returned to Dalton to take his statement. He was allowed to exit the rear of my patrol car and uncuffed. Dalton would not answer basic questions about the incident, and kept trying to divert the conversation to irrelevant topics. While speaking with Dalton, I observed a mark on the left side of Dalton¿s face, and when I attempted to check the mark to see if it was an injury, Dalton covered his face and then attempted to grab my flashlight to prevent me from checking the mark. After multiple failed attempts to get a statement from Dalton, the decision was made to take Dalton into custody for disorderly conduct with the statements from [VICTIM #1] and other witnesses.

Dalton was then handcuffed behind the back, double locked, and checked for fit. He was then placed back into my patrol vehicle and transported to the LEC, where he was turned over to jail staff. Dalton was then given a citation for disorderly conduct.
