On 06/27/2025, at 19:03 Hrs, I was dispatched to [100 BLOCK] Glenn Bryant Rd, in reference to a possible domestic.
Prior to my arrival, Spo Thomas #147 arrived on scene and observed a male Markell Wilmer standing on top of the outdoor A/C unit as a gray Sedan driven by Alexis Granthame pulled away from the A/C unit.
I arrived on scene and made contact with the complainant, [WITNESS #1]. Ms [WITNESS #1] stated she was in an argument with Mr Wilmer and called her cousin (Ms Granthame) to pick her up. Ms [WITNESS #1] advised that when Ms Granthame arrived on scene, she began arguing with Mr Wilmer, and the arguing escalated to the point where Mr Wilmer and Ms Granthame were in a physical altercation. At some point the parties were separated and Mr Wilmer took the key out of Ms Granthame’s mini van, throwing them, and advised he threw them. It was stated that Mr Wilmer then took a bottle of lighter fluid and splashed it onto Ms [WITNESS #1].
I made contact with Mr Wilmer, who advised Ms Granthame was the physical aggressor during their altercation and once he took the keys out of Ms Granthame’s ignition, she grabbed the lighter fluid from the grill, splashed it on him and Ms [WITNESS #1], and advised that she was going to light him on fire. A witness on scene [WITNESS #2] advised he exited the residence when he heard a disturbance outside and witnessed Ms Granthame grabbing Mr Wilmer by the head and striking him, followed by her spraying him with lighter fluid and advising she was going to light him on fire. Mr Wilmer advised after he was sprayed with lighter fluid, Ms Granthame got into Ms [WITNESS #1]’ Sedan and attempted to run him over. Mr Wilmer stated he jumpped on top of the A/C unit to avoid being struck by the vehicle, and shortly after law enforcement arrived.
Ms Granthame was placed under arrest for terroristic threats and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Ms Granthame was searched before and after transport, with no contraband found.
Warrants are being applied for at this time.
