On 04/23/24 at or about 0256 hours Spo Lachowsky (133) and I were dispatched to 463 W Oglethorpe Hwy (Circle K) in reference to a sexual assault call. Upon our arrival, we exited our patrol vehicles and assisted Lt Guy (163) in searching the wooded area immediately behind Circle K for the suspect (black male, short dreads, blue basketball shorts underneath pants, grey or black hoodie).
The complainant/victim Ms. [VICTIM #1], provided us with a statement. She stated that she was restocking the fountain cups; the suspect grabbed her butt with his hand. She stated that the suspect forced her to perform oral sex on him by inserting his pe*is into her mouth against her will. Ms. [VICTIM #1] stated that he demanded her to give him the cash from her wallet and he would leave. She stated that he attempted to take money from the cash register as he departed but was unsuccessful. He fled the scene on foot and was later apprehended. He refused to fully identify himself.
Detectives were called to the scene and they assumed the investigation.
