On Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at approximately 0725 hours, I was dispatched to the intersection of Georgia Highway 38 and Georgia Highway 196 East in reference to a road rage disturbance. Prior to my arrival, Liberty County Dispatch advised me that the original complainant, Mr. Tyler Tyson, had become irate with 911 dispatchers and referred to a dispatcher as a “bit*h” while using other profanity during the 911 call.

At approximately 0743 hours, I arrived on scene and observed a white Honda Civic bearing South Carolina registration [REDACTED BY AGENCY] positioned in the number one lane of travel directly in front of a green tractor-trailer, preventing the tractor-trailer from proceeding forward. I then made contact with the driver of the Honda, identified as Mr. Tyler Tyson.

During my contact with Mr. Tyson, he provided me with a video he had recorded of the green tractor-trailer allegedly making an improper U-turn. Mr. Tyson stated that the maneuver nearly caused a collision between his vehicle and the tractor-trailer. Mr. Tyson further stated that, following the near collision, he positioned his vehicle in front of the tractor-trailer and attempted to confront the driver.

I then made contact with the tractor-trailer driver, Mr. [VICTIM #1]. Mr. [VICTIM #1] stated that Mr. Tyson confronted him and began climbing into the cab of the vehicle. Mr. [VICTIM #1] further stated that Mr. Tyson attempted to remove the keys from the truck and was extremely irate, making statements such as, “Get out of the cab” and “Do you want to fight?”

I also made contact with Mr. [WITNESS #1], who was seated in the passenger seat of the tractor-trailer during the incident. Mr. [WITNESS #1] stated that Mr. Tyson was extremely irate and made multiple attempts to either enter the cab of the truck or entice Mr. [VICTIM #1] to exit the cab.

During my investigation, Mr. Tyson admitted to attempting to reach for the keys in an attempt to shut off the vehicle when Mr. [VICTIM #1] attempted to distance himself from Mr. Tyson. I was also able to obtain a voice transcript of Mr. Tyson’s original 911 call. The transcript documented that Mr. Tyson used profanity toward the 911 dispatchers, including referring to the dispatchers as “bit*hes,” along with other profane language. A copy of the transcript was documented and uploaded to my Axon body-worn camera.

Based on the statements obtained from Mr. Tyson, Mr. [VICTIM #1], and Mr. [WITNESS #1], as well as the information documented in the 911 call transcript, Mr. Tyson was placed under arrest and charged with Unlawful Conduct During a 911 Call, Disorderly Conduct, and Stopping, Standing, or Parking in the Roadway.

Prior to placing Mr. Tyson inside my patrol vehicle, I searched the vehicle and located no contraband or other items of concern. Mr. Tyson was placed in handcuffs, which were checked for proper fit and double-locked. He was then escorted to the rear of my patrol vehicle and searched incident to arrest, with no contraband being located. Mr. Tyson was placed in the vehicle safety restraint prior to transport.

Mr. Tyson was transported to the Liberty County Jail and turned over to jail staff without further incident. After Mr. Tyson was removed from my patrol vehicle, I searched the rear compartment again and located no contraband.
