On September 23, 2026 at 10:18 A.M., deputies were dispatched to [9100 BLOCK] Gravel Hill Road in reference to a domestic dispute. The complainant, Abbey Anglin, advised Mitchell County 911 that her live-in boyfriend, Bejamin Hatcher, has been making threats and hitting her. Ms. Anglin further stated that he would not give her the keys to her vehicle so she could leave.
Once on scene, I, deputy Mike Carr, along with other back-up units, made contact with both parties involved. The two were seperated and spoke to individually. Abbey Anglin advised that Benjamin had taken her keys, so she did the same, she got his keys and would not give them back to him. Ms. Anglin advised that Benjamin had struck her in the face. There did appear to be marks under both eyes of Anglin. Ms. Anglin said this started last night and she did bite Benjamin.
Deputies spoke to Benjamin and he admitted both had struck each other over an arguement over keys and other issues. Benjamin and Abbey have lived together for around 5 years. After speaking with both, it was determined that both were aggressors in this incident, and both were placed under arrest for Disorderly Conduct., then transported to Mitchell County Justice Center.
