On 5/28/26 at 20:30 I Ofc. Bryant (#12) was dispatched to [300 BLOCK] Baggs Ave SE Apt [REDACTED] in reference to a Domestic Dispute.
Upon my arrival, I was met by the complainant a Ms. [REDACTED] (B/F, [REDACTED]) and she informed me that the father of her children a Mr. Monterrius Ross (B/M, [REDACTED]) had got into a verbal dispute and she did not want him back at her residence. She then informed me that was him walking down Glausier ST in a tank top.
Before returning back to my patrol unit (#36) I informed Ms. [REDACTED] that my parter Sgt. Taylor (#6) will be making contact with her shortly, while I began my search for Mr. Ross. I observed a African American male walking down Wilder St. I made contact with the male in front of the residence of [300 BLOCK] Wilder St. I then exited my patrol unit, and verbally asked the individual for his name. He then stated out loud that his name was Monterrius Ross.
I then asked him to step to the back of my patrol unit, so I could search is outer person for his and my safety, noting illegal was found. I then explained to him that Ms. [REDACTED] does not want him back at her residence and I will be issuing him a Barrment Notice for him not to return. I then explained to him that if he was to return, he would be taken to jail for Criminal Trespass, and he nodded and stated out loud that he understood.
I then advised dispatch of who I was issuing the Barrment notice to by name and date of birth, and they confirmed that he had a warrant out of Camilla, Ga 31730, later to be discovered once arrived at the Justice Center (Camilla, Ga 31730) for Simple Battery. I then placed Mr. Ross in handcuffs, double locked for fit, and informed him that he will not have any local charges from Pelham Police but must be taken to jail for the warrant. I then inspected my back seat area, and no contraband was found.
I then assisted him in the back seat area, secured with the safety restraint, and was en route to the Justice Center. Once arrived, I transferred Mr. Ross over to the Justice Center staff to be booked and processed, I then returned back to my normal patrol duties.
