On Tuesday, April 22, 2025, I, Deputy T. Jones was dispatched to [500 BLOCK] Taylor Road regarding an Unruly Juvenile.

Upon my arrival, I spoke with Adam Choate, who stated that he and his brother Juvenile [JUVENILE #1] had gotten into a physical dispute. Adam stated that he allowed Juvenile [JUVENILE #1] to use his laptop to complete his homework and tried to take a $2 necklace from a younger juvenile. Adam stepped in and told Juvenile [JUVENILE #1] that he couldn’t and that’s when Juvenile [JUVENILE #1] became very irate and started cursing and tried to unplug the camper power but was unsuccessful. It was reported that Juvenile [JUVENILE #1] broke a Nintendo Switch that was valued at $350.

Juvenile [JUVENILE #1] and Adam got into a physical altercation. Adam had a bit on the left shoulder and signs of bruising on the face. This was video and audio recorded on Sgt. Kendricks assigned body camera.

Adam was arrested and taken to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office. Juvenile [JUVENILE #1] was turned over to a legal custodian. Cpl. Weaver contacted RYDC intake to which they advised they would not detain Juvenile [JUVENILE #1].
