On Thursday, 06/04/2026 at approximately 1429 hours I, Corporal Ramsey was dispatched to Georgia 401 North near mile marker 192 in reference to a hit and run.
I arrived on scene and observed a black Honda Accord that had damage to the passenger side of the vehicle with a red piece of fender stuck inside of the door. Dispatch advised me that a witness stated that the suspect vehicle was a red Cadillac SUV displaying Georgia License plate [REDACTED]. A BOLO was given to Butts County in an attempt to locate the vehicle. A short time later, Deputy Brown located the vehicle at High Falls Road and Cooper Road located inside of Butts County. Deputy Brown observed matching damage to the vehicle and initiated a traffic stop and took the driver into custody. The driver, Arthurt White was transported to the Monroe County Jail and issued a citation for Hit and Run.
The Driver of the Honda Accord had suspected injuries and was accessed by Monroe County EMS.
