On 8/15/2026 at approximately 1708 hours, I was dispatched to the area of [100 BLOCK] James Street, located within the jurisdiction of Forsyth, Georgia, in reference to a dispute. While enroute to the above location, I was advised by Monroe County dispatch, of a male an female on an open line actively arguing with each other. Per dispatch a lot of background noise was heard and the yelling and cursing between the two subjects continued, until the line disconnected.
Monroe County dispatch made an attempt to call the caller back, but did not receive an answer. Due to that information, I did activate my emergency equipment on my patrol vehicle. Upon arrival I observed a female and male arguing in front of [100 BLOCK] James Street. The female was identified as [VICTIM #1] and the male was identified as Deon Johnson. [VICTIM #1] stated Deon was her brother and while she was cleaning inside the house that they both live in.
Deon had been drinking and he continued to put dirt and trash all over the house, as she was attempting to clean the house. [VICTIM #1] stated all Deon does is drink and cause issues with everyone in the house. I then spoke with Deon. I did observe blood shot, glassy eyes, slurred speech, unsteadiness on his feet, and the odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from his breath. Deon stated his sisters were bothering him and he had did nothing to none of them.
While Deon was attempting to explain his side of the story. He continued to yell and curse at his sisters, who were setting on the front porch of the residence. I asked Deon, if I left him at the residence with his sisters, would there be a problem. Deon stated “yes”. Deon was then placed into custody. Handcuffs were applied to his wrist to the rear, double locked, and checked for fit.
Deon was escorted to the rear of a marked patrol vehicle and was transported to the Monroe County jail. Deon was cited for Disorderly Conduct under the city ordinance (15-8), subsection 11 for public intoxication, subsection 10 for disturbing the peace, and subsection 8 for obscene language. Deon was released to the custody of the jail staff.
