On March 11, 2026, at approximately 1432 hours, I was dispatched to [4200 BLOCK] Cornwall Dr. in reference to a disturbance.
Upon my arrival, I observed both parties, identified as Ms. [VICTIM #1] and Ms. Kaylesha Jackson, initially separated. However, as I arrived, I observed Ms. Jackson attempting to ensue an argument with Ms. [VICTIM #1], yelling profanities and stating that her AirPod was in Ms. [VICTIM #1]’ vehicle.
I immediately separated the parties and requested Ms. Jackson to sit on the curb nearby, to which she complied. I then requested Ms. [VICTIM #1]’ driver’s license and attempted to interview her regarding what had occurred. While speaking with Ms. [VICTIM #1], Ms. Jackson began yelling over her, making it difficult to hear what Ms. [VICTIM #1] was saying. At that time, I asked Ms. Jackson if she had a driver’s license with her. Ms. Jackson stated that it was in the FedEx truck she was driving. We then walked to the FedEx truck. While Ms. Jackson was retrieving her driver’s license, I asked her what had occurred.
Ms. Jackson stated that after making a delivery to the address of [1000 BLOCK] Victorian Blvd., Ms. [VICTIM #1], the homeowner, drove up and approached her while on her route, stating that the package was already open. Ms. Jackson further stated that she attempted to provide Ms. [VICTIM #1] with information from her manager regarding the return process. However, Ms. [VICTIM #1] was not listening to her, so she got back into the FedEx vehicle and attempted to continue on her route Ms. Jackson stated that Ms. [VICTIM #1] then began following her.
Ms. Jackson further stated that she arrived at the address of [4200 BLOCK] Cornwall Dr. and stopped in order to confront Ms. [VICTIM #1] about why she was following her. At that time, an argument ensued between the two parties, and both parties began yelling obscenities at each other. Ms. Jackson stated that she punched Ms. [VICTIM #1] in the face multiple times and that Ms. [VICTIM #1] fought back as well. Ms. Jackson further admitted that she was the one who swung first. I then requested Ms. Jackson to stand by her vehicle while I spoke with Ms. [VICTIM #1].
Ms. [VICTIM #1] stated that when Ms. Jackson delivered her package, she noticed the box was already open and observed Ms. Jackson throw the package onto the ground, damaging the product inside through her ring doorbell camera. Ms. [VICTIM #1] further stated the she got into her vehicle and drove through the neighbourhood to locate and confront Ms. Jackson in order to request information regarding a return. She wanted Ms. Jackson to take the box with her and return it.
Ms. [VICTIM #1] stated she located the FedEx truck on Cornwall Dr and approached Ms. Jackson requesting the information when Ms. Jackson then became frustrated, and attempted to drove away. Ms. [VICTIM #1] stated that they both began to yell obscentities at one another as Ms. Jackson was attempting to drive away. Mrs. Jackson then stopped her FedEx vehicle in front of [4200 BLOCK] Cornwall Dr. and the dispute and yelling continued. Ms. [VICTIM #1] stated that she responded in a similar manner.
Ms. [VICTIM #1] further stated that Ms. Jackson then struck her in the face and hands multiple times. Ms. [VICTIM #1] stated that she repeatedly told Ms. Jackson she did not want to fight because she did not want to jeopardize her nursing certification; however, she did defend herself. Ms. [VICTIM #1] further stated that after the altercation, Ms. Jackson picked up the package Ms. [VICTIM #1] was attempting to return and threw it at the windshield of Ms. [VICTIM #1]’ vehicle, causing it to crack. Ms. [VICTIM #1] also provided Ring doorbell camera footage showing Ms. Jackson delivering the package already opened and dropping it onto the ground.
At that time, Ms. Jackson was informed that she was under arrest for multiple charges. Ms. Jackson then attempted to climb into the FedEx truck for reasons unknown. Corporal Manning and I then placed Ms. Jackson in handcuffs behind her back, double-locking the handcuffs and checking them for proper fit. Ms. Jackson was escorted to the rear of Corporal Manning’s patrol vehicle and placed in the back seat.
Ms. Jackson was transported to the Monroe County Detention Center without incident.
Shortly thereafter, Mr. [REDACTED], a manager with FedEx, arrived on scene and took possession of the FedEx truck Ms. Jackson had been driving.
At approximately 1624 hours, I was contacted by Monroe County dispatch advising that Ms. [VICTIM #1] was requesting that Ms. Jackson be criminally trespassed from her property due to fear of retaliation at a later date. A criminal trespass notice was issued, and Ms. Jackson was notified and provided a copy of the notice.
