On 06/13/2026 at approximately 0116 hours, I was dispatched to 94 E. Adams St., commonly known as Driven, in reference to a fight. While en route, I was advised by Monroe County Dispatch that one of the involved parties had fled the scene prior to law enforcement’s arrival.

Upon arrival, I made contact with Mr. Rictavius Jones. I immediately observed that Mr. Jones had visible injuries to his face. I asked Mr. Jones if he would like to be evaluated by EMS; however, he refused. I then asked Mr. Jones what had occurred. Mr. Jones stated that he had been involved in a scuffle with a friend. Realizing that Mr. Jones was highly intoxicated, I asked him again if he wished to be seen by EMS. Mr. Jones again refused and stated that it was no big deal and that he had only been involved in a scuffle with a friend.

I was later advised by Monroe County deputies that the other involved party had been located during a traffic stop at the Square. I then advised Corporal Manning that I would be making contact with the other party. Upon arrival, I made contact with [VICTIM #1].

I asked [VICTIM #1] what had occurred. [VICTIM #1] stated that Mr. Jones was highly intoxicated and upset because his girlfriend wanted to come to the bar. [VICTIM #1] further stated that upon her arrival, she began cursing at multiple patrons. [VICTIM #1] stated that he told Mr. Jones he needed to do something about his girlfriend’s behavior. According to [VICTIM #1], Mr. Jones became visibly agitated, picked up a chair, and slammed it onto a table belonging to Driven. [VICTIM #1] further stated that Mr. Jones then became irate, yelling at everyone, and attempted to strike him in the face. [VICTIM #1] stated that he avoided the punch and defended himself.

[VICTIM #1] provided video evidence showing Mr. Jones acting aggressively and slamming his hands on a table in front of Driven.

After speaking with two additional witnesses, one male and one female, I determined that Mr. Jones was the predominant aggressor in the incident and that [VICTIM #1] acted in self-defense.

I then returned to Corporal Manning and Mr. Jones. Mr. Jones was placed in handcuffs behind his back, checked for proper fit, double-locked, and secured in the rear seat of my patrol vehicle.

I then spoke with the manager of Driven, who stated that no damage was observed to the property and that they did not wish to pursue charges.

Mr. Jones was transported to the Monroe County Detention Center without incident.
