On 4/23/2025 I received a call at [500 BLOCK] Fashion CIR in reference to an assault where a female showed up at this residence where she advised she couldn’t call for help due to she could not see.

Once I arrived I spoke to [VICTIM #1] who was sitting on the ground with a left black eye, a laceration to her left eyebrow and a blue bruise covering her left face cheek.

[VICTIM #1] did advised that she drinks all the time and that 2 days ago Crystal Gray and Kelly Smith showed up at the residence of [500 BLOCK] Fashion CIR and beat her up. I asked [VICTIM #1] why they beat her up and she advised because they wanted her to move out so they could move in. [VICTIM #1] advised that her and [WITNESS #1] lives there and they are just room mates and [WITNESS #1] was not there at the moment.

[VICTIM #1] advised that Crystal Gray and Kelly Smith left in a green Car.

I spoke to caller [WITNESS #2] who advised that there is always something going on at that residence and that he calls [WITNESS #1] to let him know and that when he shows up everyone runs off. [WITNESS #2] advised he normally has the incidents go in one ear and out the other, but this was different when [VICTIM #1] showed up on his property yelling his wife’s name and seen [VICTIM #1] in this condition.

[VICTIM #1] was taken by EMS to Murray Medical to get checked due to her also saying she could barely breathe to EMS personnel

Myself and CPL Brown was in route to [400 BLOCK] Falcon CIR to see if we could make contact with Crystal Gray. SFC Keener was on scene before we arrived.

I spoke to Crystal who advised me that the fight happened around 4-5 days ago over [WITNESS #1] because [VICTIM #1] thought she liked him.

Crystal advised that there was a lot of people over even [WITNESS #1] when the fight broke out. Crystal advised that [VICTIM #1] was calling her names and that she pushed her and Crystal pushed her back and Crystal advised that everyone was telling her to hit [VICTIM #1]. Crystal advised that [VICTIM #1] pushed her again and broke her keys that was around Crystal’s neck and that was when she hit [VICTIM #1], but it was one time. Crystal advised that after she hit [VICTIM #1] that was when [WITNESS #1] broke it off and said that was enough. Crystal advised that [VICTIM #1] has been wanting to fight her before and that [VICTIM #1] has even told Crystal that her boyfriend, Possible name [WITNESS #3], has been hitting on her.

I observed Crystal’s hands and seen on the right hand knuckles that it was bruised. I advised Crystal what I saw and she advised yes that it was from where she hit [VICTIM #1]. Crystal also advised that Kelly Smith did not have nothing to do with it.

I placed Crystal under arrest for Aggravated Battery on [VICTIM #1]

I called [WITNESS #1]’s cell 3 times and could not get an answer for his statement. I did not have no contact info or address for Kelly Smith and no further info to determine the correct Kelly Smith.

I went back to Murray Medical where I further spoke to [VICTIM #1] and collect photos of the wounds.

[VICTIM #1] advised that no one was around the house except for her and her dog. [VICTIM #1] advised again that it happened 2 days ago when she was questioned again about the when it occured and stated that it was the day before Easter. I asked [VICTIM #1] if she knew what day it was and she advised no. I advised her that it was 4/23/2025 and [VICTIM #1] stuck with the incident happening day before Easter, which would have the incident happening on 4/19/2024. [VICTIM #1] advised that she thinks it happened at around 0900 or 0930 AM possibly.

[VICTIM #1] advised that she was sleeping in bed and that was when Kelly Smith and Crystal Gray came into her bed room and beat her up. [VICTIM #1] advised that she known Kelly since they was little kids and that the room she is staying in used to be Kelly’s. [VICTIM #1] advised that Kelly has been trying to move back in and wanting her room back and believes that’s why they done this because she has no where else to stay. [VICTIM #1] advised that she has a boyfriend named [WITNESS #3] and that he treats her good and pays her rent for her and helps her out and that [WITNESS #1] and her are just room mates. [VICTIM #1] advised that [WITNESS #1] and [WITNESS #3] are both nice people.

I further observed [VICTIM #1] for wounds, [VICTIM #1] advised me that her left rib cage hurt as well but could not see no discolorations to the skin. [VICTIM #1] also advised that her back hurt as well where I seen a red scrape mark on the bottom right of her back and a bruise on her back right shoulder blade area. [VICTIM #1] then showed where there was a bruise and red scrapes on her left buttocks.

Pictures was taken of [VICTIM #1]’s face, back and hands. Followed with Crystal’s hands as well.

I will be charging Crystal Gray with Aggravated Battery.
