[NARRATIVE #1 on June 16, 2022]

On June 16th, 2022 at approximately 1:53pm I, Deputy Robbie Garren arrived on scene at the Dollar General Store located at 14 Pine St North Tennga in regards to the Store Manager, [WITNESS #1] calling 911 stating Donna White was in her store, and that Ms. White stole items from the store two days ago and wants an officer to come ask her to leave the store.

[WITNESS #1] advised me that Ms. White left just before I arrived in a red beat up GMC pickup truck. I asked [WITNESS #1] if this theft was caught on camera? She advised yes, that Ms. White was in there on 6/13/2022 at 8pm and 6/14/2022 at 2pm and stole items from the store. I then entered the store and began watching the video. The video clearly shows Ms. White not scanning several items, bagging them up as if she had paid for them and walked out on both days. [WITNESS #1] advised me that she had Ms. White’s date of birth due to her buying cigarettes just before I arrived. I then ran her name and date of birth through our GCIC information System and got a return of Donna Lynn Smith.

I looked at the license picture attached to the name and did recognize that to be Ms. White that was seen in the video surveillance. I asked [WITNESS #1] if she knew Ms. White by any other name? She stated no that she only knows her by Ms. White because of her husband’s or who she believe’s her husband last name is White. [WITNESS #1] then handed me a receipt of the items that she stole. These items were 1 pack of Jimmy Dean Sausage Patties, 1 pack of Tyson Chicken Patties, 2 Pillsbury Soft Bake cookies, 1 pack of Keebler Vienna Finger Cookies, 1 pack of Fudge Stripes Cookies, 2 2 Liter Dr. Peppers, 1 20oz Mellow Yellow, a Half Gallon of Chocolate Milk, and a Gallon of Milk, all this totals to be Forty Two Dollars and Twenty Eight Cents.

Video was collected and will be placed into evidence, along with the paper receipt. A warrant will be taken out For Donna Smith’s arrest for Shoplifting.

Nothing Further to Report.

[NARRATIVE #2 on June 16, 2022]

On 06/16/2022 approximately 20:34 I, Deputy Vannoy and SFC Newport responded to the Dollar General at 14 Pine St N due to Donna Smith being their with active warrants. I knew of Deputy Garren taking warrants on Donna Smith for shoplifting from the same Dollar General she was at. When I arrived I made contact with Donna Smith inside the store where I asked her to step outside with me at this time SFC Newport arrived on scene to assist. I contacted the on call Judge Reed where the warrant was signed, and at this time I placed Donna Smith under arrest. I placed hand cuffs to fit and double lock then I transported her to the Murray County Jail without incident.
