On February 13, 2022 at approximately 1715 hours, I Deputy Hill, Sgt. Keener and Cpl. Watson responded to [100 BLOCK] Elm St. in reference to a warrant.
Upon arrival I spoke with Joseph Atkins mother and asked to speak with Mr. Atkins. She stated he was not home but she would call him. I then spoke to Mr. Atkins by phone and he stated he was in Dalton but he would come home and speak with me.
Mr. Atkins then arrived at his residence. Mr. Atkins was placed in two sets of handcuffs behind his back, double locked and checked for fit. Mr. Atkins was advised he had a warrant form a situation that happened earlier in the day.
Mr. Atkins was then placed in the rear of my patrol vehicle and transported to the Murray County Detention Center and released to jail staff.
End of report.
