On 07/15/20261, Officer Maddox, was patrolling the area of Circle K S 3rd when I ran GA Tag reading [REDACTED] and my Mobile Data Terminal (MDT) showed that the registered owner, Joshua Waters, showed to have an active warrant out of Murray County Sheriffs Office.
I contacted dispatch and had them confirm that the warrant is valid. Dispatch advised me that the warrant was valid.
I made contact with Joshua and confirmed his name and date of birth confirming he had a warrant for his arrest. I allowed Joshua to call his brother to get his vehicle. I placed Joshua in handcuffs in the front, checked for fit and double locked.
I transported Joshua to the jail and turned him over to jail staff without incident.
