On May 24th, 2023, at approximately 02:16 hours I responded to a 911 hang-up call in the area of Joshua Creek Road in Covington, GA, 30016.
Upon my arrival, I observed the male offender standing in the front yard of the driveway, yelling and shouting at the victim, who is his mother, and other family members who were standing in the garage. As I exit my vehicle, I notice both hands of the victim are dripping blood as she walks from under the garage.
The victim was transported to the Newton Piedmont Hospital, pictures was taken and uploaded by Axon Capture and witness statement was collected.
Through further investigation, the offender was arrested and transported to the Newton County Jail.
