07/27/2023 at approximately 12:44 hours.
On this date, I was dispatched to [100 BLOCK] Providence Parkway in reference to a male complainant stating his boyfriend, who he lived with, pointed a rifle at the complainant. I spoke with the male when I arrived. The male complainant stated his boyfriend used an AR and punched the complainant with the barrel of the rifle during an argument.
At this time, I observed a round barrel mark on the complainant’s lip, as well as a cut, thus causing the complainant’s lip to bleed. I was unable to speak to complainant’s boyfriend at the time, due to the boyfriend not being on location. The complainant stated he was going to seek a Temporary Protective Order.
*The complainant was given a case number for the incident and was advised the warrants will be taken for the boyfriend.
*No further investigation from Patrol Division at this time.
