On 1-10-2023 at approximately 1237 hours, I responded to [50 BLOCK] Mountain Court, Covington, Newton County GA. regarding Child Molestation.
Upon arrival, I was met by the caller and alleged offender, identified as Justin Baptiste. Justin stated he asked his sister, a minor, to have sex with him, which she declined. Justin then asked me to take him to jail. Justin stated he was in his room watching pornography, when he heard what he believed to be noises of a sexual nature coming from his sisters room. Justin stated he never entered his sisters room, touched her, or made any lewd gestures to her. At this point the minor juvenile left the residence.
Contact was made with the minor juvenile, who stated Justin came to her bedroom door and asked if she wanted to engage in sexual intercourse with him. She stated she verbally declined, shut her door, then left the residence.
While speaking with the parties, the childrens mother, identified as [REDACTED], arrived at the residence. All parties stated this had never occurred before; however Justin had in the past used his mothers sex toys.
Newton County CID was notified as well as DFACS. I spoke with Sgt. Watterson # 972, who advised to bring Justin to the Sheriff’s Office for an interview. I spoke with [REDACTED] with Newton County DFACS, and advised her of the circumstances.
Justin was transported to the Newton County Sheriff’s Office, Interview Room #2, and turned over to Sgt. Watterson.
