On 07/22/2025 I was dispatched to a call regarding to a discharged gun at the Exxon gas station on Flat Shoals rd.
Upon my arrival, deputies began securing the scene while I spoke to the complainant and witnesses that were on scene of the incident. The complainant who is witness 1 (who wants to remain anonymous) stated that she was sitting in her vehicle and saw two males getting out of a blue Honda and saw one male running after the Honda while shooting at it. The complainant stated she ran inside the gas station once she heard the gunshots. I asked witness 1 could she make out a description of the males and she stated “No I didn’t see their faces I just know they came and left in a blue Honda”. Witness 2 (who wants to remain anonymous) stated she saw two Hondas at the gas station and 1 male with a gun. When I asked her did she see who the males were and a description of them she stated she recognized the shooter and provided me with the shooters Instagram account name. I asked witness 2 if she knew the male’s name and age and she stated “I don’t know him I just follow him on Instagram”.
After gathering the witnesses statements and information I then went inside the gas station to see if I could obtain video surveillance of the incident. The store manager was able to send me videos of the incident from two different angles. From what I observed, there was a blue Honda (older model) that parked at the gas station and sat at the pumps for a duration of 10 minutes, then approximately 5 minutes later another blue Honda (newer model) parks in front of the store. 3 males get out of the older model Honda and walk over to the newer model Honda that is parked in the front of the gas station. 2 of the males got inside of the newer model Honda while the 3rd male dressed in a black shirt was standing outside of the cars with a visible firearm. Approximately 5 minutes later, the 2 males exit out of the newer model Honda and proceed to walk back to the older model Honda. The male that was wearing a black shirt and basketball shorts began running after the newer model Honda after it pulled off and fired rounds at the vehicle. The same male also ran back to the other Honda and left the scene. One of the males in the vehicle left on foot.
Crime scene and CID were notified and dispatched to location. The scene was turned over to them.
