On Wednesday 08/12/2026 I responded in the area of the incident location in reference to neighbors yelling at each other. When I arrived on scene I heard a verbal dispute outside of a residence between two neighbors. The offender kept shouting towards the victim as the victim was just standing there with his dog. I spoke to the complainant first who stated she was the mother of the offender. The complainant stated she was inside her home when she heard her son screaming from the front porch outside. The complainant stated her son was arguing with their neighbor about a dog and moments later heard her son make verbal threats towards the neighbor.
After hearing statements from the offender, victim and complainant the offender was arrested on scene without incident and transported to NCSO Jail. When I arrived to the Jail I safely removed my duty weapon and ammo from my duty belt and secured it safely into my patrol vehicle. The offender was then walked inside into intake where he was turned over to detention staff. Warrants will be obtained against the offender.
The complainant and victim were issued an incident case card number.
