On September 21, 2026 I, Deputy T. Woods, responded to a call in regards to a family fight at [REDACTED].
On arrival I spoke with the complainant, Ms. [VICTIM #1], who stated she was baby sitting her roommates children and she had to discipline the oldest child. Ms. [VICTIM #1] stated while she was disciplining the child by popping her and talking to her the child’s grandfather, Mr. Michael Browder, grabbed her from behind by her hair and began punching her in the face. Ms. [VICTIM #1] stated Mr. Browder punched her several times while stating “I told you not to put your hands on my grandchild”. Ms. [VICTIM #1] stated after the assault Mr. Browder ran out of the residence and the oldest child locked the door.
I observed Ms. [VICTIM #1] at the neighbors house, where she ran for help, with blood running down her face from multiple cuts around her eye, and mouth. Ms. [VICTIM #1] was treated by ems and transported to Piedmont Newton. I also observed blood trough out the kitchen and back room of the residence where Ms. [VICTIM #1] stated the assault took place.
