On July 16th, 2023, Deputy Childers Badge #1237 and I responded to an armed robbery at Dollar General located at 2425 Gold Mine Rd. Dallas GA 30157. Upon arrival on scene I made contact at the front of the store with complainant [VICTIM #1], who advised me that a black male had just robbed the store with a firearm. After ensuring no one was injured, I then checked the perimeter of the store and ensured the scene was secure, before returning to collect statements of what occurred.

I first spoke with Ms. [VICTIM #1], who stated that it was her and a co-worker [VICTIM #2], as well as two customers [VICTIM #3] and her daughter Juvenile [VICTIM #4] in the store at the time of the crime. Ms. [VICTIM #1] stated the suspect an unknown black male entered the store through the front door, wearing a black face covering, and a dark blue hoodie. Ms. [VICTIM #1] stated that the suspect pointed a handgun at everyone in the store and ordered them to get on the ground. Ms. [VICTIM #1] stated the suspect then began to collect phones and watches from them before telling her “you got two seconds to get in that safe”.

Ms. [VICTIM #1] stated she complied with the suspects orders and gave him the money in the safe as well as in the cash register, in total 1380 dollars were stolen, as well as 8 packs of Newport Cigarettes. I then spoke with victim [VICTIM #2], who stated the suspect appeared to be approximately 5′ 11″ with a thin build possibly 150lbs., Ms. [VICTIM #2] stated she was having trouble remembering exact details due to shock. Ms. [VICTIM #2] stated she could not recall the suspect having any identifying marks or tattoos.

I then spoke to victim [VICTIM #3], who stated she was standing in the store near the cash register while her daughter Juvenile [VICTIM #4] was in another part of the store. Ms. [VICTIM #3] stated that the suspect entered and began ordering everyone to get on the ground. Ms. [VICTIM #3] stated the suspect approached her and grabbed her phone and watch from her and placed it on the counter nearby. Ms. [VICTIM #3] stated her daughter then came towards the front of the store, and was ordered onto the ground.

Ms. [VICTIM #1] stated that a manager would need to come to the store in order to access the interior camera footage, Ms. [VICTIM #1] stated there were no exterior cameras on the building. After speaking with all victims involved, I collected written statements from all victims involved in the incident, I have attached the statements to this report. The scene was then turned over to Detective Raybon and Crime Scene Technician Sgt Fitzgerald for further investigation.
