[NARRATIVE #1 on July 26, 2026]

On Sunday July 26th 2026 I, Officer Jonathon Watts along with Officer S. Chapman and Sgt A Beck responded to [300 BLOCK] Shadyside Dr in reference to a suspicious person.

Upon arrival we spoke with a female who stated this girl later identified as “Alexandria Levit” had come pulling up into a parking spot and sat for a few minutes and then got and started stripping her clothes off in the parking lot and had got down to a bathing suit top the woman stated she told Alexandria to not be stripping in the parking lot that their was small children in the neighborhood and asked why she was there stating she did not live there. Alexandria started cussing her out and screaming and then took off walking.

Sgt Beck and myself got in our patrol cars and went to find Alexandria we found her in the [600 BLOCK] Shadyside Dr. walking. We got out to talk to her and from the get go Alexandria was saying crazy things like she was in talks with the GBI and all of this was being recorded and kept patting her purse like she had a camera in there and said we were the police and were going to kill her, exhibited rapid repetitive movement, her speech was rapid and she had difficulty remaining still during the encounter. Alexandria was asked how she got to the apartments and she stated she drove there. Alexandria was asked if she would perform SFST and at first agreed and then denied.

We talked to Alexandria’s mom who stated she does suffer from autism and schizophrenia but thought this was also fueled by drugs when her mom arrived on scene we asked what her drug of choice usually was and she stated Meth. Alexandria started taking off walking around the time her mom pulled up and I got in my patrol vehicle and started following her while Sgt Beck was making the determination to arrest or seek mental health care.

While following Alexandria in my patrol vehicle she started walking up Dunlap St and stopped a car with a hispanic driver and asked him for a ride she hopped in and they started taking off I stopped them and Alexandria jumped out and started walking up the road again I followed and called Sgt Beck and asked what they had decided he stated they had decided to arrest her for Disorderly Conduct and have the mobile crisis unit respond to the jail. It was at this time Alexandria started yelling at a car that was behind me and based on the confusion, Alexandria displaying behavior that was inconsistent with a typical encounter, the inability to follow instuctions, the unusual statements I decided to arrest her for DUI-Drugs.

When I got out I told Alexandria to stop that she was under arrest she started screaming no she was not I again told her she was under arrest to stop she started acting like she was going to run off I grabbed Alexandria’s arms and restrained her until Sgt Beck and Officer Chapman arrived and helped get her in handcuffs her hands were placed behind her back and in handcuffs after getting the handcuffs on we realized her purse was still on her arm so we took one her hands out to get the purse off after the purse was off I placed the handcuff back on and checked for tightness and double locked them.

Alexandria was put in Officer Chapmans patrol vehicle and Alexandria freely and voluntarily started saying she wanted to let us know there were things in her purse “sharp things” she said and also said we would find some dope in a pill bottle. Alexandria was moved from Ofc. Chapman patrol vehicle to my patrol vehicle. Ofc Chapman went through the purse and found said items, 5 syringes a glass smoking device commonly used to smoke Meth and a white crystal like substance suspected to be Methamphetamine and two blue and white pills labeled ALV 566 according to DRUGS.Com is VYVANSE in a pill bottle with a faded out label that we could not read.

I read Alexandria the Implied Consent Notice for Suspects age 21 and over from Sgt Beck green card and asked for blood Alexandria agreed stating she had nothing to hide. Alexandria was transported to MLMC where phlebotomist [REDACTED] drew blood from her right arm. Alexandria was then transported to Rabun County Detention Center wher she was turned over to jail staff. It should also be noted we attempted to have a GSP trooper trained in DRE respond but the closest one was 45 mins away so a DRE was not utilized. At the time this report was completed toxicology results are pending.

[NARRATIVE #2 on July 26, 2026]

On July 26, 2026, the City of Clayton police officers, Sarah Chapman, Sergeant Beck, and Officer Watts, responded to a report of a suspicious person on Shady Side Drive. Upon arrival, a female resident reported that another woman, driving a silver Honda Accord, was acting irrationally and appeared to be wearing only a swimsuit or was possibly changing clothes.

Sergeant Beck made contact with the woman at approximately [600 BLOCK] Shady Side Drive, identifying her as Alexandria Levit. Levit was unresponsive to the officers’ directions, loudly screaming and cursing at them. She appeared irrational and could not be redirected by the officers. Levit stated that she had driven her vehicle to Shady Side a short time earlier. She frequently moved her hands and could not remain still, appearing sweaty. Additionally, she mentioned multiple times that she was an addict, and her behavior was consistent with someone under the influence of methamphetamine.

Levit’s mother arrived at the scene while Levit continued to walk away. Officer Watts followed her, while Officer Chapman and Sergeant Beck stayed back with her mother. Officer Watts eventually detained Levit on Dunlap Street. Officer Chapman then searched Levit’s purse, discovering a glass pipe typically used for smoking methamphetamine, multiple hypodermic syringes, and an orange pill bottle with a damaged and unreadable label. Inside the bottle, officers found a white, crystalline substance that appeared to be methamphetamine, along with two blue and white capsules. Officer Watts secured the evidence in his patrol car.
