On 030626 at 1329hrs, I Deputy Hunter Perez(109P), along with Deputy Stephen Harden (109), was dispatched to Copse Dr, at Summerton Dr, at the mailboxes. In reference to an Armed robbery.
Upon arrival the listed victim [VICTIM #1] stated that he was doing a Facebook marketplace meet up to buy a blue in color Apple MacBook.
[VICTIM #1] then stated that he met up with two unknown males both wearing all black one was a white male in his 20’s and the other was a light skin male about 6’0 tall with curly hair and green eyes. [VICTIM #1] then stated he asked them to unlock the MacBook to make sure it wasn’t stolen they refused, and he said never mind and started to walk away, [VICTIM #1] then stated that one of them struck him in the back of the head and demanded the money. [VICTIM #1] then stated that the unknown males weren’t successful at getting any money from him. [VICTIM #1] stated that they fled into the woods behind the mailboxes.
I checked with the house next to the mailboxes to see if they had cameras and if they would of caught anyone running behind their house, they stated that their camera didn’t see anyone. We contacted B8 SGT Randall Amos in CID which he advised us to do the report, and he will follow up.
