On Tuesday, August 1, 2026, at approximately 2141 hours, I, Sergeant Brandon Kennedy (B497/B42), along with several deputies responded to [3200 BLOCK] Rushing Road for a report of trespassing.
Upon my arrival, I spoke with the witness, [WITNESS #1], who stated that the accused, Lance Pinson, knocked at the front door of the residence. [WITNESS #1] stated that he did not open the door, but he spoke with (Lance) Pinson through the front window. He stated that (Lance) Pinson was looking for his eyeglasses. [WITNESS #1] advised me that there is a Temporary Protection Order (TPO) in place and (Lance) Pinson is not allowed within 500 yards of the residence nor the victim, [VICTIM #1]; his mother, who was inside the residence at the time.
I spoke with the witness, [WITNESS #1], who advised me that he also observed (Lance) Pinson on the property. He provided me a clothing description and stated that (Lance) Pinson left on foot.
I contacted Records (Sergeant Johnson/C77) about the TPO. She advised me that the TPO was issued and signed by Superior Court Judge John Flythe on August 20, 2026, and that it was served on the same date in Court. The TPO stipulates that (Lance) Pinson is not to go within 500 yards of the residence of [3200 BLOCK] Rushing Road, nor is he to go within 500 yards of [VICTIM #1]. This offense occurred in Augusta, Richmond County, Georgia.
(Lance) Pinson was not at the scene. A warrant was obtained for the offense of Aggravated Stalking OCGA 16-5-91. The warrant was printed in Records (Sgt. Johnson/C777) and placed on file. A report was filed for record.
