On Friday, June 7, 2026, at 0029 hours, I, Deputy Thomas Ray, was dispatched to 1350 Walton Way (Piedmont Hospital) Room 2 in reference to an assault. Upon arrival, I made contact with [VICTIM #1] (along with her friend [REDACTED]), who stated her mother, Mary Williams, had assaulted her at their residence at [100 BLOCK] Tybee Court. I observed severe lacerations and swelling on the side of Mary’s face. I also observed bite marks on [VICTIM #1]’s left arm.

[VICTIM #1] stated the incident occurred at approximately 2300 hours at the residence. [VICTIM #1] stated she walked into the residence with [REDACTED], and Mary was angry with her because Mary claimed [VICTIM #1] had been gone all day without letting her know. [VICTIM #1] stated the argument started out verbal but evolved into Mary striking [VICTIM #1]’s face with a pistol and biting Mary on her arm as [VICTIM #1] was attempting to take the gun away.

I contacted Sergeant Ryan DiGiacomo, who contacted Sergeant Stephen Brown in CID to advise him of the incident. Deputy Tyler Holland, Deputy Dawson Dowdy, and I made contact with Mary at the residence of [100 BLOCKS] Tybee Court and detained her.Investigator Charlie Walker 702 arrived on scene, and the scene was turned over to him.
