On May 27, 2026, at approximately 1921 hours, I, Deputy Sharnese Lewis (332), responded to [2300 BLOCK] Helsinki Dr. in reference to an assault.

Upon my arrival I made contact with the mother Ratashia Thomas and her two daughters, [REDACTED BY AGENCY] (2 years old) and [REDACTED BY AGENCY] (5years old).

Ratashia stated that her daughter was abused by her child’s father, Isaiah Bacon. Ratashia and her children reside with Bacon at [2100 BLOCK] Chadwick Rd.

Ratashia stated that at 0100 hours, she went to the store and she left the [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and [REDACTED BY AGENCY] with Bacon. When she returned home at 0145 hours, she saw that [REDACTED BY AGENCY] eye was swollen and her lip was busted. She asked Bacon what happened, and he stated that [REDACTED BY AGENCY] had hit her.

Ratashia advised me that she did not believe that’s what happened.

Also, during my investigation, Ratashia told me that Bacon has previously been abusive to the children because he gets upset that the girl are not biologically his.

I was able to obtain pictures of the injuries, and those have been uploaded to Axon Evidence.

I then went over to [2100 BLOCK] Chadwick Rd to further my investigation, where Bacon was located. I spoke with Bacon, and he advised that he was sitting on the couch on his phone while the girls were playing, and then that’s when he heard [REDACTED BY AGENCY] crying, so he walked outside to take her to Ratashia, who was walking back from the store. I asked Bacon what happened next he just kept stating, “I gave the baby back to her mother.”

Bacon’s mother, [WITNESS #1], was also present during this investigation and she stated that when she woke up around 0030 hours, all the children were asleep. She went outside to get something from the car, and when she came back in, that’s when Ratashia told her to look at [REDACTED BY AGENCY] eye. [WITNESS #1] asked what happened, and that’s when Ratashia and Bacon told her that [REDACTED BY AGENCY] did it to her.

[WITNESS #1] advised that she wanted to contact EMS, and Ratashia told her no.

Also, while I was arriving on scene, [REDACTED] from DFACS was leaving the scene, and she advised that she just needed my name and number; she already got all the information she needed.

Sgt Brown/B80 was notified and case was turned over to CID.
