[NARRATIVE #1 on June 16, 2025]

On June 16, 2025 at approximately 1900 Hrs in the city of Donalsonville, Ga 39845 County of Seminole I sergeant R. Butler was dispatched to 205 S Wiley (hotel) in reference to missing property.

I sergeant R. Butler had previously spoken with Mr. Chad McKay in reference to his wife allegedly cheating on him and he wanted to take his vehicle from her. Mr McKay was informed on the steps he could take, consult an attorney, and was advised his situation was civil. That’s when [VICTIM #1] wanted to report her vehicle taken by her husband and I informed her that it was parked at the police department; he had left it there.

I then spoke with witnesses Mrs [VICTIM #1]’s mother and the gentlemen she was with Mr [WITNESS #1] whom stated that Mr McKay does follow [VICTIM #1] wherever she goes.

Mr McKay came back to the department where the vehicle was parked and wanted to take it after saying he was going to leave the vehicle with Mrs [VICTIM #1] because she needed transportation from work and to get the kids around and she was the one paying for the vehicle, but it was in his name.

I sergeant R Butler told Mr McKay the law didn’t work like that; I sympathized with his situation but I could not allow him to leave with the vehicle. Mr McKay went back to his car and started using profanity towards investigator Mims when he was placed under arrest for disorderly conduct requested by investigator Mims.

Mrs [VICTIM #1] called again saying her husband Mr McKay after being released from jail was outside her hotel with Mr [WITNESS #1]’s wife. I sergeant R Butler made contact with Mrs [VICTIM #1] and her mother and was shown a video of her husband and Mr [WITNESS #1]’s wife standing hotel by a red Mustang (later identified as Mr [WITNESS #1]’s wife car) outside the hotel were Mrs [VICTIM #1] was staying.

I then made contact with Mr McKay and advised him that at this time he needs to stay away from Mrs [VICTIM #1] until further orders were put in place and Mr [WITNESS #1]’s wife stated she just wanted to see who he was with that she’ll be returning back home to Leesburg.

Mr Chad McKay was arrested and released from the Seminole County jail.

Mr Chad McKay was advised to stay away from the hotel for separation purposes.

Mrs [VICTIM #1] still has the vehicle at this time until further notice from the courts.

No further investigations needed

I sergeant R Butler returned back to normal operations
