On May 23, 2025 at approximately 1520 hours I, Deputy Zimbelman, responded in non-emergency mode to the Speedway Inn, located at 2014 North Expressway, which is in Spalding County Georgia, to a report of an open 911 line.
Upon my arrival I made contact with a white male, identified as Mr. [WITNESS #1], who stated that he was in room [REDACTED] with a white female, later identified as Ms. Amy Sides. [WITNESS #1] stated that the two of them had just gotten out of rehab together, but that Amy had been drinking and was out of control. The manager advised that the two had been causing a ruckus and that he wanted them to leave the property, but [WITNESS #1] stated that Amy had passed out in the room and was asleep. In hopes that the problem would resolve itself with Sides being asleep in the room, the manager agreed to allow them to stay in the room and stated that he would call us back if there were any further issues.
As I was pulling out of the property to leave, Amy Sides came walking around the front of the building completely naked, yelling and screaming. She appeared to be intoxicated due to the fact that she was staggering as she walked, slurred her speech, and smelled of an alcoholic beverage. I placed Sides under arrest and she was secured in handcuffs. Due to her extremely small wrists, the cuffs were not able to be double locked as the cuffs went all the way through the channel past the last catch.
A search for weapons and conatraband was unessessary. Sides was transported by Deptuty V. Waddell, #235 to the Spalding County Jail, where she was turned over to the jail staff. I secured a warrant for Indecent Exposure, (warrant# 25-EW-003111) on 5/24/2025 from Magistrate Judge Adam Grubbs. Both [WITNESS #1] and Sides were issued Criminal Trespass Warning(s) from the location which were logged with dispatch.
