On August 14 2026, I responded in a non-emergency mode to 314 E. Solomon St the Garden Bar/Night Club, regarding an assault. Upon my arrival, I spoke with [VICTIM #1] (victim). [VICTIM #1] stated that while at the bar, she was assaulted by Hannah Joy Kulp and Victoria Elizabeth Hornsby.
[VICTIM #1] advised she was standing near the bar in conversation with [WITNESS #1], the owner of the bar, and a few other guests. Kulp walked from the other side of the bar, between the group and her, and aggressively shoulder-checked her.
[VICTIM #1] stated that she pushed Kulp away while spilling her drink; that is when Hornsby came from the other side of the bar and grabbed her by her hair, throwing her to the floor and striking her several times in the face. [WITNESS #1] intervened and put both Kulp and Hornsby out of the business.
I observed the video footage from the bar’s security footage and observed Kulp Shoulder-check [VICTIM #1] and Hornsby grab her hair, throw her to the floor, and strike her. Based on testimony and video evidence, I will obtain a simple battery warrant for Kulp and Hornsby. [WITNESS #1] sent the camera footage to evidence.com.
