On September 9th, 2026 I, Deputy H Dix responded to [REDACTED] in non-emergency mode in reference to a domestic.

Prior to my arrival, a male subject by the name of [REDACTED] (B/M [REDACTED BY AGENCY]) had advised dispatch there was a female subject on scene trying to fight other subjects and he needed her to be removed from the residence.

Upon my arrival, I made contact with a female subject standing outside by the name of Iesha Chatman (B/F [REDACTED BY AGENCY]). Iesha stated her and her mother, [VICTIM #1] (B/F [REDACTED BY AGENCY]) were in the kitchen and they began arguing. Iesha stated her and [VICTIM #1] began arguing about Iesha not helping pay bills in the residence. Iesha stated [VICTIM #1] stated to her “how do you not have a conscience about not helping pay bills, and Iesha stated she advised [VICTIM #1] she does not have a conscience, and then [VICTIM #1] stated “Well if you dont have a conscience, you can get out”.

Iesha stated she walked outside, and [VICTIM #1] advised her to get out of her house. Iesha stated she advised [VICTIM #1] she would leave, and she did not want anything out of the house except her phone and keys. Iesha stated she walked upstairs to get her belongings, and then [VICTIM #1] advised her she could not take anything out of the house.

Iesha stated she then “spazzed” and charged at [VICTIM #1], and then [VICTIM #1] pushed her down. Iesha stated she “guessed” [VICTIM #1] believed she was coming at her and was about to hit her when she began going towards [VICTIM #1]. Iesha then stated she was stomping towards her, and [VICTIM #1] pushed her. Iesha then stated her and [VICTIM #1] began fighting. Iesha had a bruise on her arm.

Myself and Deputy Abdallah then spoke to [VICTIM #1]. At first [VICTIM #1] advised Deputy Abdallah that nothing physical had happened. [VICTIM #1] had a long scratch on the right side of her face. [VICTIM #1] then advised us when Iesha came out of the bedroom, Iesha pushed her, and they began fighting. [VICTIM #1] stated she had to call for her husband, [REDACTED] to separate them.

[VICTIM #1] stated she advised Deputy Abdallah at first that nothing physical happened due to her not wanting Iesha to get in trouble.

I then spoke to another female on scene by the name of [WITNESS #1] (B/F [REDACTED BY AGENCY]). [WITNESS #1] stated she was on the phone with [VICTIM #1] which is her mother, and advised me of the same story about them arguing in the kitchen over bills. [WITNESS #1] stated she was on the phone with [VICTIM #1] while this whole incident happened, and when Iesha came out of the bedroom, she heard [VICTIM #1] say “oh so youre just gonna try to push me down the stairs”, and [WITNESS #1] stated Iesha stated back to [VICTIM #1] and said “Ive been trying to think of a way to off you anyways”.

Ieshas juvenile children [REDACTED BY AGENCY] (B/F [REDACTED BY AGENCY]) and [REDACTED BY AGENCY] (B/M [REDACTED BY AGENCY]) were also in the house when this incident took place.

After hearing all sides of the incident, and Iesha admitting to charging at [VICTIM #1] first, I placed my hancuffs on Ieshas wrists to the back of her, checked for proper fit, and double locked the cuffs. Iesha was placed in my patrol vehicle with the safety belt placed around her. I transported Iesha to the Spalding County Jail where she was turned over to detention staff without incident. My patrol vehicle was checked before and after transport.

I checked RMS for any past domestics between [VICTIM #1] and Iesha but I did not see any. I also had Spalding dispatch run a criminal history on both subjects per policy.

I will be obtaining warrants through the Magistrate Court on Iesha for Battery-FV and two counts of Cruelty To Children-3rd due to the children witnessing this incident as well. I will do a supplemental to this report once I obtain the warrants numbers.
