On January 7th 2025, I Deputy Ramsammy, responded in non-emergency mode to [100 BLOCK] Sharon Pkwy Griffin, Ga 30224 in reference to a domestic that just occurred.
Upon my arrival I made contact with [VICTIM #1] (B/F; Dob: /2003) who was distraught stating that her brother Jeffery Tardy (B/M; Dob: /2001) grabbed her by the throat choking her then slamming her to the ground causing [VICTIM #1] to hit her head and lose consciousness for a moment. [VICTIM #1] had marks on her face and hands from the altercation and requested to be checked out by EMS. I spoke with the mother [WITNESS #1] (B/F; Dob: /1969) who stated that both her children were in a shouting match calling each other names before the altercation ensued.
[WITNESS #1] stated that she tried to get in between both her children to de-escalate the situation but it didn’t work. Jeffery left the incident location prior to my arrival so I was unable to get his side of the story. [VICTIM #1] did provide me with a sworn written statement. EMS arrived and transported her to the hospital via ambulance for her injuries. Pictures of her injuries were taken and have been submitted at this time. Warrants on Jeffery were obtained for the charges of Aggravated Assault Strangulation FV (25-EW-001171) and Battery FV (25-EW-001172).
