On 08/24/26, I, Inv. Amos, was contacted by Lamar County Sheriff s Office (LCSO) Inv. Clift regarding a reported child molestation. Inv. Clift advised that while investigating the case within his jurisdiction, he learned that the alleged sexual assault originated within the jurisdiction of the Griffin Police Department (first offense) and continued in Lamar County (second offense).
Inv. Clift advised that a forensic interview had already been scheduled for the alleged child victim and that he would provide additional information once the interview was completed. Inv. Clift also requested video footage from the Griffin Walmart after the child alleged that the offender placed his hands inside her shirt and touched her chest. Inv. Clift stated that the incident occurred at approximately 1200 hrs. in the clearance aisle of the store.
I contacted Walmart Loss Prevention employee [REDACTED], who advised that he would provide video footage showing the victim and offender inside the store. [REDACTED] stated that he would need several days to retrieve the footage because the store was conducting inventory.
I am awaiting the initial report from LCSO so that I can identify all involved parties, update the name modules in this report, and make contact as needed.

This is the initial court proceeding after an arrest where a judge reviews the charges and determines bond. Yeoman is accused of eight offenses across eight separate warrants: Child Molestation (Felony, Warrant 26-EW-005042), Cruelty to Children — Causes Excessive Physical or Mental Pain, 1st Degree (Felony, Warrant 26-EW-005043), Enticing a Child (Warrant 26-EW-005044), Child Molestation (Felony, Warrant 26-EW-005045), Child Molestation (Felony, Warrant 26-EW-005046), Sexual Battery (Felony, Warrant 26-EW-005047), Sexual Battery (Felony, Warrant 26-EW-005048), and Sexual Battery (Felony, Warrant 26-EW-005049). The case is bound for the Superior Court of Spalding County. Judge MacDowell denied bond on all eight counts, meaning Yeoman was ordered held in the Spalding County jail without the ability to post bail. The arresting officer is listed as Inv. Shateema M. Amos.
