On 10/1/2026, at approximately 1130 hours, I, Officer Lee of the Griffin Police Department, responded to 1447 North Expressway (Aspen Dental) regarding a dispute. Officer Ramirez also responded to Griffin Communications traffic.

Upon arrival, body worn cameras became active and contact was made with Office Manager [WITNESS #1] (B/F, DOB [REDACTED BY AGENCY]). [WITNESS #1] stated Gasden became upset while discussing her dental treatment, exited the treatment area, picked up a wooden box from the front counter, and threw it or shoved it toward an employee. [WITNESS #1] stated she ducked to avoid being struck.

Officer Ramirez also spoke with employee [WITNESS #2] (B/F, DOB [REDACTED BY AGENCY]). [WITNESS #2] stated she observed Gadson exit the office, pick up a wooden box from the front counter, and throw it toward a coworker, who moved out of the way to avoid being hit. [WITNESS #2] stated Gadson then exited the building.

Gadson was located outside waiting for a ride. After the witness statements were obtained, Gadson was detained pending further investigation. Miranda warning was read, and Gadson agreed to speak with me. Gadson stated she was upset after being at the dental office for more than three hours and admitted to storming out and knocking over the box on the front counter. Gadson stated she did not know she could be arrested for that. I advised her yes, it is considered Disorderly Conduct.

She was then placed under arrest for that charge after admitting to doing so inside the Dental Office. She was arrested for Disorderly Conduct and not Simple Assault or Agg. Assault due to not actually striking anyone with an ornament style box, that was very light in size, and not having any evidence that indicates anyone being injured from it striking anyone. Based on the circumstances and information available, Gadson was only charged with Disorderly Conduct.

Custody was transferred to Officer Ramirez, who searched her and transported her to Spalding County Jail, where she was turned over to Jail Deputies.

I later went to the jail, where Gadson signed the required citations and court documentation. The case number was provided to the reporting staff at Aspen Dental, and advise them to provide any available camera footage for documentation and court purposes.
