On April 5th, 2025 I, Deputy H Dix responded to [600 BLOCK] Northside Dr Apt [REDACTED] Griffin, Ga 30223 in non-emergency mode in reference to a domestic.
When I responded this time, I had already just left from this apartment approximately 45 minutes before. When I got dispatched the first time, it was due to multiple subjects arguing outside. The complainant advised it was outside of apartment [REDACTED]. I made contact with a female by the name of Walquaja Boyd (B/F) the first time, and she advised me she was not involved and that she also heard someone arguing outside the apartment, but that her apartment was not involved.
When I responded the second time, the complainant advised dispatch once again that the arguing was coming from apartment [REDACTED]. I once again made contact with Walquaja, and she advised me the female who lived below her in apartment [REDACTED] threated her with a knife. I made contact with a female subject by the name of [WITNESS #1] (B/F /2003) who lives in apartment [REDACTED], and she advised me that she never came out of her apartment, and she provided me with the video footage proving that she never came out of her apartment.
I watched the video footage that [WITNESS #1] provided me from her front door camera, and you can see Walquaja actively arguing with a female subject in front of the apartments. Walquaja began coming down the steps advising the other female subject that “she could come catch this fade”, and actively cussing at the female subject and being loud. I never saw any video footage that involved a knife.
After speaking to [WITNESS #1], I made contact with a female subject by the name of [WITNESS #2] (B/F/1988) who Walquaja was seen arguing with in the video. [WITNESS #2] advised me that Walquaja had been arguing and yelling at people all night long. Due to watching the video footage from [WITNESS #1], I observed Walquaja being the one who was coming down her steps trying to fight [WITNESS #2] and yelling and cussing.
I walked back to Walquajas apartment, and I advised her that she was going to jail for Disorderly Conduct. I placed my handcuffs on Walquajas hands to the back of her, checked for proper fit, and double locked the cuffs. I searched Walquaja incident to arrest to make sure she did not have any weapons or contraband. No weapons or contraband was found at this time. I placed Walquaja on the back passenger side seat of my patrol vehicle (#2312) with the safety belt placed around her. Walquaja also advised me that she could show me video footage of the incident, I attempted to let her show me the video she had, but then she advised me she could not get the video to work.
I transported Walquaja to the Spalding County Jail where she was turned over to detention staff without incident. I used Deputy Ramsammys body camera during this incident due to mine being dead. I obtained warrants on Walquaja through magistrate court for Disorderly Conduct due to seeing Walquaja being the one coming down her steps yelling and cussing and using fighting words (Warrant # 25-EW-002398).
