On 06/21/2025 at approximately 0742 hours, I Ptl Moore was dispatched to [700 BLOCK] E Broad St Apt [REDACTED] in reference to a Domestic in Progress.
When I arrived on scene, I made contact with Buffin, Zavius. Zavius stated his mother (Buffin, Sherelene) and step father (Pack, Clinton) “just jumped on me”. As I was speaking with Zavius, Sherelene exited the residence screaming “he in here bleeding” I rushed in the apartment to check the status of Pack. When I entered the apartment Pack was actively bleeding from his mouth and holding his hands to his mouth as blood was dripping from his lips. I advised dispatch to start EMS. I inquired to Pack if he was okay and asked him to sit down. I went back outside to place Zavius in handcuffs and placed Zavius in my patrol unit to deescalate the situation.
As I was speaking with Sherelene she stated Zavius came in and asked her for $10.00 and she stated she was not giving him any money and Zavius charged at her, throwing her into a glass table. Sherelene stated that during her altercation with Zavius he was “beating her in the head and back”. Sherlene stated Pack came in trying to get Zavius off of her and then Zavius begin fighting Pack. Sherelene stated Zavius had Pack pinned on the ground and was punching him nonstop so she called dispatch for help. During the conversation with Sherelene she repeatedly stated “yall need to take him somewhere”.
I asked Pack what happened, Pack stated “I was trying to wrap my arms around Zavius to get him off of Sherelene and Zavius begin swinging on me”. I advised Sherelene and Pack to both come sit down on the porch and wait for EMS to arrive. Sherelene was complaining of head and back pain. I went to my patrol unit to speak with Zavius to inquire about the incident. Zavius stated “he was in the room and his mother came in arguing then she begins pulling his hair and hitting on him so he defended himself”. Zavius stated as he was fighting with his mother Pack came in and begin fighting him as well. Zavius suffered a small laceration to the right side of his face and small lacerations on his hands and knuckles.
When I went back inside of the residence, I asked Sherelene to show me where the altercation occurred. Altercation occurred in the bedroom straight ahead when entering the residence. As soon as I walked in the bedroom on the floor there was one dread (hair) by the door, approximately 5 inches away from that piece of hair was another dread next to a black shoe, to the left of the room on the floor there was broken necklaces, blood on floor, and tissue with blood. EMS arrived on scene and all parties was seen and cleared by EMS.
Prior to this incident I was at this residence with the same three parties on 06/20/2025 “TWICE” this was the third incident within a 24 hour period. The second incident there was an issue of a Disorderly House.
Due to the nature of the incident and the conflicted stories all parties were arrested. Zavius stated he was attacked first by Sherelene then Pack started attacking him. Sherelene stated Zavius attacked her first and Pack just came to assist. Pack stated he was trying to break it up but Zavius attacked him. All parties were handcuffed behind their backs, handcuffs were double locked. Parties were charged with the following:

As Sherelene was escorted to my patrol unit Sherelene threw herself to the ground and begin crying. Sherlene was instructed to get up but refused. Sherelene had to be picked up by myself and other officers, as we were placing Sherlene into my unit she begins kicking her shoes off screaming and yelling refusing to get in. Sherelene had to be forced inside of my unit.
Zavius was transported to Spalding County jail by MPO Towns and Pack was transported to the jail by Ptl Wilson.
Sherelene was transported to the Spalding County Jail during transport Sherelene was screaming and hitting her head against the sit. All parties was turned over to the jail.
Warrants were obtained and all photographs submitted to evidence.
