On Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at approximately 1845 hours, DEPUTY JOSHUA CRUNKELTON of the Tattnall County Sheriff’s Office responded to Blockers Trailer Park Lot 41 Glennville, Tattnall County, Georgia in reference to a domestic incident that had already occurred.
Upon arrival, DEPUTY CRUNKELTON made contact with the victim [VICTIM #1], who communicated through a translator, Mr. [WITNESS #1]. Through the translator, Ms. [VICTIM #1] provided the following statement:
Ms. [VICTIM #1] stated that on Sunday, March 29, 2026, she was raped by a Black male. The offender was later observed by Ms. [VICTIM #1] and Mr. [WITNESS #1] while they were speaking with DEPUTY CRUNKELTON. Ms. [VICTIM #1] did not provide the name of the offender at the time of the report. DEPUTY CRUNKELTON contacted oncall Investigator CASEY WILLIAMS, who scheduled an interview with Ms. [VICTIM #1] at the Glennville Police Department for March 31, 2026 at 2100 hours.
Ms. [VICTIM #1] stated that she did not have the clothing she wore that night on her person, but confirmed that she still had the clothing in her possession and had not washed it. She agreed to bring the clothing with her to the Glennville Police Department for the scheduled interview.
Mr. [WITNESS #1] agreed to serve as a translator for Ms. [VICTIM #1] during the interview and to assist her in traveling to the Glennville Police Department.
