On the above date and time, I Lt Hughes responded to 2212 North Tift Avenue (Southeastern Credit union) in reference to a male customer being belligerent. Before my arrival the complainant Ms. [WITNESS #1] advised that the offender is a white male Georgia hat, blue jeans.
Upon arrival I spoke with the complainant [WITNESS #1] the complainant stated that a Troy Hatcher came in the bank Monday, Thursday, and Friday of last week causing a disturbance to where they had to call the police. [WITNESS #1] stated that he is calling them and cussing at them and being very rude. [WITNESS #1] also stated that he is very verbally aggressive towards them at the bank. [WITNESS #1] stated that she would like to have him banned from the bank due to his behavior. [WITNESS #1] then gave me his information and his address. [WITNESS #1] also stated that he keeps asking about her vehicle that is in the parking lot. [WITNESS #1] also stated that Hatcher would tap on his watch and said “you have 30 mins” I then went and spoke with Hatcher at [1600 BLOCK] Love Ave.
While on the way to talk with Hatcher [WITNESS #1] sent me a recording of Hatcher being irate with an employee over the phone via email. I was under the impression that it was in the bank but it was actually over the phone. While talking with Hatcher he was explaining to me that something about his account needed to be fixed and that they do not respect anyone’s time. I explained to him that does not give him the right to go up to the bank and act the way he did. Hatcher did advise that he was speaking with another customer and he was cussing but not at them and that the new bank teller needed to grow a pair if she needs to. After speaking with Hatcher, the decision was made to arrest Hatcher for disorderly conduct. Hatcher was handcuffed checked for fit and double locked them. Hatcher was placed into the back seat of my patrol vehicle unit # 51 and transported to the Tift County Law Enforcement Center. Hatcher was turned over to the jail staff.
I then went back up to Southeastern Credit union and spoke with [WITNESS #1] again. [WITNESS #1] stated that today he came in and being very rude and loud causing another disturbance by yelling “you are going to fix my account today”. [WITNESS #1] was informed that he was banned from the property.
