On the above date and time I received a call of a welfare check at [500 BLOCK] Georgia Highway 56 East. While en route E911 advised me that a possible stabbing had occurred at the residence with the victim already at the hospital in Vidalia. I went to the scene while investigators Nick Luke and Jason McCoy went to the hospital, investigators advised me that the incident took place at [600 BLOCK] Georgia Highway 56 East.
While en route E911 advised that the offender was possibly at the hospital but it was unknown. Myself and Deputy Carl Spikes arrived on scene, no one was at the residence, we then secured the residence while investigator Chris Clark obtained a search warrant. I remained at the residence to secure the scene until investigators Chris Clark, Jason McCoy, Nick Luke, and Tim Coursey arrived on scene and took over the scene. A crime scene log was started by me when Deputy Chase Barr arrived he took over the crime scene log. No other incident occurred.
