I (Cpl. D. Williams) was dispatched to [100 BLOCK] Hudson St about a fight.
Upon arrival, I made contact with Jennifer Hill. Hill advised she had been in a fight and she advised me to search the other people at the residence. I advised Hill I had no reason to search everybody that was there and she stated yes, I did because she had been assaulted. When I attempted to get more information on what had happened Hill would not tell me what happened. EMS arrived on the scene to check Hill out because she stated that her right hand and left knee were scratched up. When EMS attempted to check her out, she started yelling at the EMS and advising them she did not need help anymore. EMS left the scene and I tried to ask Hill what happened to her again and she started yelling advising me that I was not trying to help her. Hill was very intoxicated when I was attempting to get her to tell me what happened. Hill stated that she was going to call 911 to request another officer and I advised her not to do that because she wasn’t going to get another officer. Once Hill called 911, I asked dispatch if she called the non-emergency line or the emergency line, and they advised that she did call the emergency line. I then advised Hill that she would be arrested for misuse of 911. I placed Hill in handcuffs (double locked) and put her in the back of my patrol vehicle.
I spoke with Hill’s mother and she advised me that she got into a physical altercation with her girlfriend. I also spoke to some of the other guests at the residence and they also advised that everybody was watching the football game and drinking when Hill and her girlfriend got into a physical altercation. Hill’s girlfriend was sent home early from the party because of the way she was acting. She had left the scene by the time I arrived on the scene. I transported Hill to the Sylvester Police to get her processed before taking her to the Turner County Jail. After I left the Sylvester Police Department with Hill, she was taken to the Turner County Jail and turned over to the Jail Staff. While enroute to the jail, my body camera was on. A warrant for Unlawful Conduct of 911 will be taken out for Hill.
This case is cleared by arrest.
