[NARRATIVE #1 on June 09, 2026]

On Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at approximately 2144 hours, I, Lieutenant Robert Taft conducted a traffic stop on North Street which resulted in the arrest of, Samaria De Aune Janae Chisolm, of Atlanta, Georgia for suspended registration, failure to signal when turning, failure to stop at stop sign, open container of alcohol inside motor vehicle, no insurance, new resident has 30 days to obtain license, driver exercise due care, reckless driving, dui – refusal, and dui – marijuana or controlled substance.

I was sitting stationary on North Street, near the intersection with Georgia 401 observing traffic conditions on the interstate when I observed a gray 2007 Chevrolet Equinox, bearing Georgia tag #[REDACTED], enter the exit ramp at Exit 84, without signaling and traveling at a high rate of speed. As the Equinox approached the stop sign located at the top of the exit ramp, I observed the Equinox’s speed not decreasing as it got closer to the stop sign.

The driver, later identified as Samaria De Aune Janae Chisolm, reaction time to the stop sign was significantly delayed. I then heard the sound of screeching tires as I witnessed the Equinox’s speed decrease rapidly, slowing down in the middle of North Street. Samaria then turned South onto North Street, crossing over the solid yellow double line, entering the opposing traffic lane of travel. I initiated my emergency lights and siren at this time proceeding after the vehicle.

The Equinox eventually came to a stop on the right shoulder, just North of One Georgia Drive, on North Street. I contacted Turner County Emergency Communication’s Center advising them I would be conducting a traffic stop, giving them my stop location, vehicle description, and vehicle tag number. Turner County Emergency Communication’s Center advised that the vehicle’s registration was suspended and had no valid insurance.

I approached the passenger side window of the Equinox making contact with the driver/sole occupant, Samaria. I introduced myself, agency I represent, and provided the reason for the stop requesting her driver’s license. Samaria originally stated she did not have her driver’s license and removed a pink coin bag from her white purse. She began shuffling through her cards at this time advising again she did not have her license. At which time, I observed Samaria shuffling her what appeared to be her license multiple times. I then advised Samaria her license was right there and pointed at it. Samaria provided me with her South Carolina license at this time.

It is to be noted, once I was next to the passenger window I could smell the strong odor of perfume mixed with a burnt marijuana smell, emitting from the vehicle and a bottle of perfume lying in the front passenger seat next to her white purse. Based on my training, knowledge, and experience this typically indicates someone is to attempting to mask or cover up a smell of alcohol or marijuana. It is to be noted, during my time at the GPSTC Academy I was exposed to the smell of burnt marijuana. I observed what appeared to be an opened liquor bottle lying in the front passenger floorboard which contained a brownish liquid substance. The bottle appeared to be half full at this time.

I asked Samaria where she was coming from and where she was heading to. Samaria advised she was coming from Atlanta traveling to Ashburn to pick her son up from her estranged husband’s mother residence. While speaking to Samaria, I observed her eyes to appear to be watery, glassy, and blood shot looking. I then asked Samaria if her address was correct on her driver’s license. Samaria advised no she lives in Atlanta. Samaria had her cell phone in her lap. I then requested Samaria to exit her vehicle and walk to the front of my patrol vehicle. I requested another unit to my location.

Samaria exited and walked to the rear driver’s side taillight of her vehicle, standing in the roadway. Samaria seemed hesitant to get close to me. I advised Samaria to step out of the roadway. Samaria then provided me with her updated address in Atlanta. I asked Samaria how long she had been residing in Atlanta. Samaria advised approximately three months. I then advised Samaria that Georgia gives you thirty days as a new resident to update her driver’s license.

I asked Samaria if she had drunk any alcohol today. Samaria advised no. Samaria advised her husband and her got a divorce that he was in the military and she was just trying to pick her child up from his mother’s residence. I asked Samaria again had she drunk any alcohol today. Samaria advised she had one shot of liquor at her uncle’s house in Atlanta approximately 1.5 hours ago. I asked Samaria if there was any illegal narcotics inside the vehicle. Samaria advised the vehicle was not hers and stated no. After asking a second time, Samaria stated there might be a “bud” of marijuana inside her purse.

Deputy Nikolaus Herrick and Deputy Taylor Greene arrived on scene. I asked Deputy Greene if he would conduct Standardized Field Sobriety Testing on Samaria due to her erratic driving behavior, slow response to traffic signs, and admission of alcohol use; while Deputy Herrick and I conducted a probable cause search of her vehicle. Deputy Greene advised Samaria to walk to the front of his vehicle so he could conduct Standardized Field Sobriety Testing. I advised Deputy Herrick we needed to turn off our flashing blue lights at which point we did.

Deputy Herrick begun searching the front passenger compartment while I begun searching the front driver’s area. I located a cold to the touch, opened, half full Bali Hai Tiki Rum Mai Tai alcoholic beverage in the center console cup holder, which was positioned under the armrest. The Bali Hai beverage was labeled with 12% alcohol concentration.

Deputy Herrick located two small clear plastic baggies, containing a green leafy substance, suspected marijuana from the inside of Samaria’s white purse. Deputy Herrick then located the half full glass liquor bottle from the front passenger floor board as well as cigar wrapped blunt approximately one inch in length which contained suspected burnt marijuana. I placed both the Bali can and the liquor bottle on the hood of my patrol vehicle along with both baggies of suspected marijuana so they could be displayed on my dash camara.

I requested the next wrecker service on rotation to my location and returned to my patrol vehicle to complete the vehicle inventory/impound sheet. Turner County Emergency Communication’s Center advised Cameron’s Wrecker Service would be enroute to my location.

While completing the vehicle inventory, Samaria returned back to the front of my patrol vehicle. Deputy Greene advised he believed Samaria was driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs. Deputy Greene stated Samaria would not provide a proper breath sample, but he was able to get a reading of 0.18 by trapping the little bit of breath she provided. Deputy Greene advised Samaria’s levels would be higher if she had provided a sufficient sample of her breath.

Deputy Greene advised he would secure Samaria into handcuffs and read her Georgia Implied Consent Notice. I observed Deputy Green secure Samaria into handcuffs cuffing her arms behind her person, while she was standing in front of my patrol vehicle. At which point, I could see Samaria appear to become highly agitated and irate. I also heard Samaria call Deputy Greene a “dumba*s cracker motherfu*ker”.

Deputy Greene escorted Samaria to the rear passenger side of my patrol vehicle. Deputy Greene advised Samaria multiple times to take a seat inside my patrol vehicle. After several commands to take a seat, Samaria complied and took a seat while still using strong vulgar language. Deputy Greene attempted to shut the door to which Samaria leaned back and double kicked the door causing it to slam into Deputy Greene. Deputy Greene then was able to secure the door. Samaria continued to cuss, scream, and be irate while sitting in the rear passenger seat. Deputy Greene then advised me the door slammed into him. I advised Deputy Greene to seek a felony warrant for obstruction due to the actions Samaria had taken.

Cameron’s Wrecker Service arrived on scene a few minutes later. Samaria’s white purse, pink coin purse, and cell phone was left inside the vehicle. I asked Deputy Herrick to count any currency she may have had inside her purse to notate it on the vehicle inventory sheet. Deputy Herrick then advised Samaria had a total of twenty one dollars consisting of, (1) $10.00 bill, (1) $5.00 bill, and (6) $1.00 bills inside her pink coin purse which was placed back inside her white purse. Samaria stated she had a lot of money hidden inside the vehicle but would not advise of the location requesting she get out and show us.

Deputy Greene secured both clear plastic baggies of marijuana by placing them into a evidence bag and sealing it. Deputy Greene then provided the sealed evidence bag to me which I placed inside my front passenger seat. Deputy Greene then poured the remaining contents of the alcoholic beverages out.

Deputy Greene stated he did not conduct a search of Samaria’s person, and that she was wearing a light jacket which had two pockets on it. I asked Deputy Greene and Deputy Herrick to conduct a search of her person before I transported her. I continued to fill out Samaria’s citations. Deputy Greene conducted a search and advised Samaria did not have any weapons or illegal narcotics on her person.

Driver of Cameron’s Wrecker, [REDACTED], signed and was provided a copy of the vehicle inventory/impound sheet. [REDACTED] then took possession of Samaria’s vehicle.

While enroute to the Turner County Jail, Samaria continued to scream and yell vulgar language calling myself and other deputies multiple names. Once I arrived at the gate located at the Turner County Jail, I picked my mic up to my radio advising Turner County Emergency Communication’s Center of my arrival, Samaria advised I was smoking a vape and that she had asthma. Samaria confused my mic for a vape due to her level of intoxication.

Once at the jail, Samaria was released to the jail staff for the booking process. While in the booking area, Turner County Jailor Cheyanne Wolf, advised while dressing out Samaria, Samaria removed her shoes and threw them at her which made contact with her legs and then proceeded to throw her jacket which made contact with Wolf’s head. At which point, I advised Wolf I would be charging Samaria for her actions.

At the office, I secured the sealed evidence bag into another properly labeled evidence bag and sealed it. I placed it along with the corresponding property receipt inside evidence locker D-1. A copy of the report was also placed with the evidence. I then secured the locker with the lock.

[NARRATIVE #2 on June 09, 2026]

On June 9th, 2026 around 2144 hours, I assisted Lt. R Taft with a traffic stop on North Street in Ashburn Ga. Lt. Taft advised me the female driver of the vehicle he stopped admitted to drinking and could possibly be impaired. He stated he stopped her for failure to stop at the stop sign while exiting the interstate. Lt. Taft asked if I would conduct standardized field sobriety test to ensure she was safe to drive.

I contacted the driver who was identified as Samaria Janae-Chisolm. I asked the driver if she would conduct field sobriety tests to ensure she was safe to drive. she complied. Upon speaking with Chisolm, I noticed she was talking very low. As the conversation went on and she began speaking normally I could smell the strong odor and an alcoholic beverage emitting from her breath. I could also smell the odor of Marijuana. I asked the driver how much alcohol she had consumed on this date. She stated she had one shot of whiskey approximately an hour and a half prior to the stop.

Prior to starting the test, I ensured that we were standing a flat surface, clear of any obstructions. I allowed the driver to change her shoes into tennis shoes so that she would not be wearing her platform house slippers. I ensured that she was not wearing contacts or glasses. I cleared her of having any medical conditions which could adversely affect the test. Next, I had her step away from my car and into the starting position. The driver was instructed to stand with her feet together, hands at her side.

I began with horizontal gazed nystagmus. Upon further observation I noticed her eyes were glassy, and her eyes dilated. While completing the test I observed her to be swaying side to side. I observed her to have equal tracking, and equal pupil size. I observed lack of smooth pursuit in both left and right eye. Halfway through the test the driver began swatting bugs, so I started over with the first portion of HGN. I observed a nystagmus at maximum deviation in both left and right eye. I observed 4 out of 6 possible clues for HGN.

Next, I had the driver perform the walk and turn test. I instructed her to stand in the start position with her right foot heel to toe in front of her left. I instructed her to hold the position while I demonstrated the test. She could not balance during this phase of the test and stood back upright. After demonstrating the test, I asked her if she understood the instructions. She replied yes and began the test. On the first pass the driver stopped walking to balance herself and stepped offline. On the second pass I observed her stop walking again and stepped offline once again. I observed a total of 3 out of 8 possible clues for walk and turn.

Lastly I had the driver perform the one leg stand. I demonstrated the test for her and ensured she understood the instructions. Once she began the test, she began falling off balance and reached back to hold onto my PIT bumper to keep her balance. I observed 1 out of 4 possible clues for this test.

After completing the test, I asked the driver to provide me with a sample of her breath. She consented. I gave her instructions multiple times on how to give a proper sample. It took her several attempts before I was finally able to get half of a sample which indicated positive for alcohol. After this was complete, I had the driver go stand back in front of Lt. Taft’s vehicle. I explained to him my findings at which point I observed several open containers of alcohol and marijuana on the hood of Lt. Taft’s vehicle. These items were said to have been found in the driver’s car.

Based on my observations training and experience I determined she was unsafe to operate a motor vehicle, and probable cause existed to place her under arrest for Driving Under the Influence. I made my way to the driver and placed her in handcuffs to the rear, which were double locked and checked for fit. At that point she began acting belligerent. I asked her to sit on the front right side of Lt. Taft’s vehicle, and she walked onto the roadway to sit on the driver’s side. I instructed her again where to sit and she then walked off towards the ditch.

Due to her being uncooperative and now in handcuffs I deemed it necessary to secure her in the rear of Lt. Taft’s vehicle to limit her movements for her own safety. I grabbed her right arm and escorted her to the vehicle. When I opened the passenger door she snatched away from me. I gave the driver numerous verbal commands to get into the car, and she insisted on doing it under her own power. After sitting in the car, I began reading her implied consent. The driver continued acting belligerent and was talking over me while I was reading.

After reading implied consent for suspects over the age of 21, I asked her to submit to a legal blood draw. I asked her numerous times to give a definite answer of yes, or no. She refused to do so and kept talking about the previous test and told me to figure it out. I considered this as a no to the blood draw. I secured the rear car door and retrieved a evidence bag for Lt. Taft and secured the marijuana inside of it.

A short time later I returned to the driver to conduct a search incident to arrest her person as I did not do so earlier due to her behavior. I asked her to step out of the vehicle and she began questioning why. I told her why and asked her again, and she refused to do so. She then began questioning procedures.

I could see that she was wearing tight yoga pants and could not see anything protruding from her waistline. I did not feel it necessary at this point to use force against her to remove her from the car, so I reached into the vehicle to check her jacket pockets. The female then said, “here you wanna search my co*chie” and began turning away from me. She kicked her feet out of the car then up towards my face at which point I pushed her feet back into the car and tried to shut the door. She stuck her foot on the door to prevent it from shutting, then reared back and kicked the door open which hit my left arm. This concluded my involvement in this incident.

I followed Lt. Taft to the Turner County Jail and stood by while they processed her in due to her being combative. This concluded my involvement in this incident.

[NARRATIVE #3 on June 09, 2026]

On 06/09/2026 at 22:37, I Cheyanne Wolf escorted 1095 Samara Chisolm into booking shower room to begin dressing her out for intake. At 22:39 I provided Chisolm with a jumpsuit and gave her commands to undress and to put the jumpsuit on. As Chisolm was removing her clothes she begin throwing them at me. She threw her jacket at me which resulted in hitting me in the right side of my face. At this point I called Sgt. Schriefer over the radio for assistance. Chisolm continued by throwing her shirt and shoes at me. Then Sgt. Schriefer had entered while she was undressed, I stated to Sgt. Schriefer that she was throwing stuff at me to which Sgt. said we were going to charge her with that as well.

Chisolm remained beligerant but was no longer physically aggressive. I then continued to dress out Chisolm while Sgt. left the room. Chisolm put her jumpsuit on and I opened door 12 to escort her to booking at which point she ripped her jumpsuit back off. Sgt. Schriefer entered and gave her multiple commands to put her jumpsuit back on to which she eventually complied. Sgt. Schriefer and I escorted her to cell 6 and placed her in it.

On June 10, 2026 at approximately 1145 I, Lt. Eric Davis served inmate Samaria De Aune Janae Chisolm with 2 felony warrants and one misdemeanor warrant. I request these warrants be removed from GCIC/NCIC.

On 06/10/2026 I, Inv. Diaz removed the contents of evidence locker #D1. The contents consisted of 1 clear evidence bag containing suspected marijuana. Contents within evidence bag are described as “two clear plastic baggies containing approximately 2 grams of green leafy substance, suspected marijuana”. Accompanied with the evidence bag was corresponding property receipt #01048 with the contents listed as item #1. The above listed item(s) were secured within the Turner County Sheriff’s Office evidence room.
