On April 5th, 2026 at approximately 1007 hours I, Deputy Marks, was dispatched to Old Gordon Rd in regards to an individual (later identified as Cory Brown) hiding behind a shed on someones property claiming that someone was chasing him with a pistol. Dispatch had already been informed that Mr. Brown had already been in multiple other yards.
Upon arrival I met with Mr. Brown who informed me that he was being chased by someone with a gun. It was determined that Mr. Brown was high on methamphetamine and that nobody was chasing him. Mr. Brown was placed into custody and transported to the Twiggs County Jail where he was booked and turned over to the on-duty booking officer.
