On 05/27/2025 at 1005 hours I, Cpl. Phillips was dispatched to [200 BLOCK] Foster Blvd in reference to a Disturbance Non-Domestic. Upon arriving I made contact with the listed Complainant/Victim [VICTIM #1] at [200 BLOCK] Foster Blvd who stated her neighbor listed Offender/Arrestee (Brittany Knecht) across the street from her has been yelling and cursing profanity at her since she arrived home. [VICTIM #1] stated the neighbor was climbing over her own porch rail making the threat to burn her house down. [VICTIM #1] stated also her neighbor was wanting her to walk over to her house so she could (“Kick her a*s”). [VICTIM #1] stated the neighbor was making crude and obscene comments towards her other neighbors in reference to their homosexuality.
[VICTIM #1] stated she has had previous encounters with threats to her life in the past with the same neighbor. [VICTIM #1] stated the neighbor has made the threat to cut off her head and place it on a silver platter.
I then spoke with listed Victim [VICTIM #2] who stated he had heard a loud commotion like someone screaming from outside and then went to check it out. [VICTIM #2] stated as he went outside, he noticed a subject listed Offender/Arrestee (Brittany Knecht) screaming at his neighbor at [200 BLOCK] Foster Blvd. [VICTIM #2] stated Brittany was cursing and using slurs such as (“Fa*got”). [VICTIM #2] stated he went to see what the issue was about with his neighbor [VICTIM #1] and had found out Brittany has made multiple threats of burning his neighbors houses down or killing them. [VICTIM #2] stated as he was speaking to [VICTIM #1], Brittany began to scream and curse him. [VICTIM #2] stated he could not make out what exactly she was telling him, and it was unclear. [VICTIM #2] stated he did understand Brittany when she asked him if he would like her to come over to his residence first little boy. [VICTIM #2] stated at that point he would defend himself if he had to do so and that law enforcement arrived shortly after.
I spoke with listed Other/Witness [WITNESS #1] who stated she was home from work and overheard the screaming as well. [WITNESS #1] stated she was [VICTIM #2]’s mother and she overheard Brittany making statements to come over to their residence and beat up her son.
I then spoke with Brittany who had started to yell and scream out as I was speaking with the Victims. Brittany stated as she was screaming, she had to see (Crisis Intervention Specialist listed Other [REDACTED]) and she had to speak with him now. Brittany was sitting on her porch railing and when she was requested to give me her name she replied Brittany and stated she did not know her last name. Brittany continued to speak out loud and continued to be disorderly. Brittany continued to request [REDACTED], who was unavailable to come out at the time. [REDACTED] was contacted by phone and spoke with Brittany asking if she was currently taking medication. Brittany stated she does not take medication, and she does not do drugs and has been sober for 14 months.
Brittany at this point was placed in my handcuffs which were checked for fit and double locked. Brittany was placed in custody for disorderly conduct and Terroristic Threats and Acts in reference to multiple neighbor’s statements of burning their homes and killing them. Brittany was placed in the rear of my patrol vehicle to be transported to the Walker County Jail. During transport beginning and ending mileage was provided to dispatch. Once at the jail Brittany was removed from the rear of my patrol vehicle and was turned over to the detention personnel. I then checked the rear of my patrol vehicle for contraband or weapons and none were found.
