Officer’s Narrative:

On Monday 05/25/2026 at 2349 hours I was dispatched to [REDACTED BY AGENCY] Draft St, Rossville, Walker County, Georgia in reference to a disturbance non-domestic.

I arrived on scene with Sgt Camp and met the suspect, (Demeektris Parker) standing in the driveway of the victim’s [REDACTED BY AGENCY] residence. Sgt Camp spoke with Mr. Parker while I spoke with [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. Mr. Parker gave Sgt Camp consent to retrieve a handgun from his vehicle. A bb gun was recovered from the back seat of Mr. Parker’s vehicle. It had a silver slide with tan grips. This matched the description provided by [REDACTED BY AGENCY].

I spoke with [REDACTED BY AGENCY] who stated that Mr. Parker pulled a handgun on him. Mr. Parker was detained and placed in the back of my patrol vehicle. The hand cuffs were checked for fit and double locked. Mr. Parker was searched for weapons and contraband with none found. The back of my patrol vehicle was searched for weapons and contraband with none found. Mr. Parker was placed in the back seat. Sgt Camp read Mr. Parker his miranda rights and asked if he would still answer questions. Mr. Parker agreed to answer questions. Mr. Parker gave consent to search his vehicle. Nothing of further evidentiary value was located.

[REDACTED BY AGENCY] said he did invite Mr. Parker to the residence. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] said that he was messaging Mr. Parker on the Grindr App and he invited Mr. Parker to the residence for sex. While at the residence [REDACTED BY AGENCY] started to feel uneasy and asked Mr. Parker to leave. Mr. Parker agreed but wanted [REDACTED BY AGENCY] to Cash App him money for gas. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] agreed to send $20.00 and attempted to send the funds. The ID Mr. Parker provided did not work.

[REDACTED BY AGENCY] said that they should do the fund transfer outside the residence. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] said Mr. Parker grabbed him in a bear hug and pushed him back into the residence and into the laundry room. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that Mr. Parker then pulled out a handgun from a pocket and pointed it at him. Mr. Parker then took [REDACTED BY AGENCY] phone and told him to unlock the phone. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] said during the struggle in the laundry room he placed his wallet in the dirty close basket to prevent Mr. Parker from finding it.

[REDACTED BY AGENCY] then stated that the pretended to have a panic attack and acted like he needed water. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] said that he and Mr. Parker then moved to the kitchen area to get a drink of water. While Mr. Parker was looking for the water [REDACTED BY AGENCY] said he moved into a bedroom off of the kitchen and locked the door. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] then escaped out of the window and ran to the neighbors house to ask them to call 911. This was captured on video cameras in the residence. The listed witness provided a written statement and the listed other, [REDACTED BY AGENCY] email the camera video from his residence to me for this report.

[REDACTED BY AGENCY] was able to describe the handgun color and size. He stated that the hand gun was silver and about six to eight inches long. He also said that he did not see what color the grips were on the gun. I was able to get photographs of the damaged window screen from where [REDACTED BY AGENCY] had climbed out of the window.

[REDACTED BY AGENCY] played the video’s from his camera system there is a clear 10 minute span were there is no one in the video. During this 10 minutes is when Mr. Parker had [REDACTED BY AGENCY] in the laundry room. Additionally, the cameras captured Mr. Parker returning to the residence and turning the cameras over to prevent them from recording what he was doing in the residence.

Mr. Parker was read his miranda rights and waived them. The following is a summary of Mr. Parker’s statement.

Mr. Parker stated that he was invited to the residence for sex by [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. Mr. Parker said that [REDACTED BY AGENCY] was going to give him money for gas. The agreed amount was $40.00. Mr. Parker said [REDACTED BY AGENCY] had invited him upstairs to his bedroom, but then asked him to leave the residence. Mr Parker asked [REDACTED BY AGENCY] if he was still going to send him the money for gas. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] said yes. Mr. Parker wrote his Cash App ID on a paper and gave it to [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. Mr Parker said that [REDACTED BY AGENCY] asked if he could send him the funds from the front porch. Mr. Parker agreed.

Mr. Parker said that the that while he was in the house with [REDACTED BY AGENCY] [REDACTED BY AGENCY] had a panic attack. Mr. Parker said he tried to calm [REDACTED BY AGENCY] down by getting him some water. Mr. Parker said that [REDACTED BY AGENCY] when into a room and locked the door. When he turned around to get the water. He said that [REDACTED BY AGENCY] then escaped the residence through the window and ran to a neighbors house for help listed witness, [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. Mr. Parker said that he walked around to residence to follow [REDACTED BY AGENCY] to make sure he was alright. Mr Parker then returned to the residence and turned the security cameras that were in the living room face down.

The bb gun was placed into evidence with the hand written Cash App ID Mr. Parker provided [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. Mr. Parker’s phone was also placed into evidence. All required paper work was completed and all items were placed into evidence locker number 3. A receipt was provided to the jail staff to be placed into Mr. Parker’s belongings.

[REDACTED BY AGENCY] had Mr. Parker’s vehicle [REDACTED BY AGENCY] because it was in his driveway blocking [REDACTED BY AGENCY] vehicle in the garage. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] requested by [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and paid for by him. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] was provided a victim’s rights sheet by Sgt Camp. I tried to make contact with Mr. Parker’s parent, [REDACTED BY AGENCY] the call went to voice mail. I called a second time and left a message and contact number for the Sheriff’s Office.

While we were speaking to Mr. Parker, [REDACTED BY AGENCY] deleted his Grindr account due to being scared of retaliation prior to us being able to take photographs of the messages.

Mr. Parker was arrested for the following:

Aggravated Assault: Mr. Parker used a deadly weapon with the intent to rob [REDACTED BY AGENCY].

Armed Robbery: Mr. Parker used a hand gun with the intent of taking funds from [REDACTED BY AGENCY] Cash App account and transfer the funds to himself.

Kidnapping: Mr. Parker did move [REDACTED BY AGENCY] from the front foyer to the laundry room during the offense of trying to rob [REDACTED BY AGENCY].

False Imprisonment: Mr. Parker kept [REDACTED BY AGENCY] rom leaving the laundry room while attempting to get into [REDACTED BY AGENCY] phone to use the Cash App to transfer funds to himself.

Simple Battery: Mr. Parker intentionally made physical contact with [REDACTED BY AGENCY] to prevent him from leaving the residence.
