On listed date and time, I was dispatched to listed location in reference to a possible domestic. While en route dispatch advised the caller advised a male had a shotgun and was pointing it at the female victim.

Upon arrival Cpl. Linder, Deputy McCoy, and Deputy Ferguson had a male detained later identified as the suspect and were speaking to both victims. I then began speaking to the male victim, he stated him and the female victim were talking about the female victim having pregnancy difficulties and then the suspect came into the room with a appeared to be a shotgun and began pointing it at the female victim. He stated the female victim grabbed the barrel of the weapon and pushed him backwards and then they began arguing. He stated the female victim then began up the stairs and began arguing with the female witness. Then they all went outside until law enforcement arrived.

I then spoke with the female victim, who stated the same as the male victim. The female victim was highly emotional and requested to be checked out by EMS due to being pregnant. Dispatch was advised to have EMS enroute. EMS arrived on scene and checked on the female victim, who then refused to be transported by EMS and elected to go to hosptial on her own record.

I then spoke with the female witness. She advised she was standing at the top of the stairs when the altercation began. She stated she did not see anything but heard the suspect stating, “I will kill you”, “I will blow your head off”. She also advised she heard the male victim threat the suspect as well. She stated she then heard the female victim and the suspect began fighting and arguing.

I then went into the area of the altercation, which was between the female victim’s bedroom and the suspect’s bedroom. I noticed several objects and a liquid in the floor, which appeared to look as if someone was fighting and knocked them over. I was not able to locate any weapon.

Male listed witness [REDACTED] arrived an scene and advised the suspect had called him and advised him he did in fact pick up a weapon when the altercation began due to the male victim having a knife.

Due to all witness statements I placed the suspect in custody, handcuffed behind the back and double checked for tightness. I escorted the suspect to the rear driver side of my patrol car and assisted him into the car.

The suspect was transported to the Walker County Sheriffs Office on charges of Aggravated Assault and Felony Terroristic Threats, both under Family Violence Act. Upon arrival to the jail, the suspect was turned over to detention staff. The back seat of my patrol car was checked for contraband before and after transport, none was found.
