On the listed date and time, I was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a violation of a TPO (Temporary Protective Order)

Once on scene I met with the victim who was on the phone with the suspect telling him not to call her again. The suspect then stated he believed she had cops following her for safety after following her to a store. At which time I asked the victim if I could speak with the suspect on her phone, she stated yes.

The victim handed me her phone at which I then called the suspect by name and identified myself, at which time he immediately hung after I identified myself as law enforcement. I then asked the victim if the TPO was still in order and if she had a copy. She stated yes. I then asked her if she knew the suspect’s current number and location. She stated no, that he is blocking his number, and each call appears with no caller ID. The victim then stated she believes he went somewhere near Jasper, Tennessee, after being arrested on a warrant previously for violation of a TPO.

The victim then stated the suspect has been calling her for the past two nights. I asked her for a rough estimate of how many times he has called her. She stated 60 times this date and 11 times the previous date. The victim also stated she was recording each call she had answered from him until the other cell phone had died.

I gave her a copy of the case number, along with my email, to send me a copy of the TPO and the recordings. At this time, I have not received the recordings, but I have received a copy of the TPO. The victim was also given a copy of the victim’s bill of rights. Warrants will be applied for. A copy of the TPO will be attached to the drive. The victim also requested extra patrols for the suspect coming to her residence.

On the listed date and time, I received emails from the listed victim providing the recordings of the suspect calling her.

Upon my arrival into work, I listened to the audio recordings. I heard the victims stated the suspect’s name multiple times and told him not to call her. While she was speaking with him, he made statements of seeing her in a white truck at multiple locations. Along with during one of the recordings, the victim states, “you’re not supposed to be calling me,” and the suspect stated, “I know.”

These audio recordings have been attached to the CID file.
