On the listed date and time I responded to the listed location in reference to a motor vehicle crash. Walker central advised that the listed suspect had ran into a light pole and was possibly passed out behind the wheel.

Upon arrival I made contact with the listed suspect who appeared lethargic and smelled of alcoholic beverage. At this time, Sgt. Camp arrived on scene and and instructed the suspect to exit the vehicle. The suspect refused and myself and Sgt. Camp removed the suspect from the vehicle.

Once out of the vehicle the suspect continued to resist arrest by pulling his hands away and attempting to tuck them under his body. Myself and other Deputy’s were able to take the suspect into custody with minimal force. GSP arrived on scene and and all DUI and driving charges were tuned over to them.

I then transported the suspect to the Walker County Jail with no issues.
