On Saturday 09/05/2026 at 0323 hours I was dispatched to the listed address in reference to a domestic disturbance.
I arrived on scene where the two listed suspects were outside of the residence arguing. I was able to get the two suspects separated. The male suspect stated that the female suspect had attacked him and taken his phone. The male suspect stated that the female suspect tried to leave the residence in her vehicle with his phone so he hit the female suspect’s vehicle with his vehicle. This cause damage to the female suspect’s vehicle.
Both suspect’s said that they had been fighting and rolling around in the front yard. Both suspects had marks on their necks and the female suspect had a bruise on the left cheek of her face. Photographs were taken of both suspects for this report.
The unbiased witness provided a description of the events that took place in and around the residence. The brother of the male suspect also provided a statement. The witness stated that the female suspect was the aggressor in the attack on the male suspect. The female suspect believed that the male suspect had been cheating on her. This is what started the argument. The witness said that the female suspect started scratching the male suspect’s neck and fighting with him. The female suspect got the male suspects phone and the fight continued outside the residence.
The female suspect got into her vehicle and started to leave the scene the male suspect rammed the female suspect’s vehicle to prevent her from leaving the scene with his phone. The male suspect was driving a large pickup truck and the female was driving a small passenger car. The damage to the female suspect’s vehicle was photographed for this report.
Both suspect’s were arrested. I hand cuffed the female suspect checking the cuffs for fit and double locking them. The female suspect was searched for weapons and contraband with none found. The female suspect was taken to the back of my patrol vehicle. I searched the back seat of my patrol vehicle for weapons and contraband with none found. The female suspect was placed in the back seat with a seat belt.
The male suspect was hand cuffed I checked the cuffs for fit and double locked them. The male suspect was searched for weapons and contraband with none found. Officer 213 of the Rossville Police Department transported the male suspect to the jail. I transported the female suspect to the jail. I provided my starting mileage and my ending mileage to dispatch.
The suspects were turned over to jail staff. While at the jail photographs were taken of both suspect’s for this report. I notified dispatch that I was back in service.
